I'm not arguing against that this isn't suspicious (and that this guy is scum), I'm arguing against a vacation with a friend (doesn't really matter what gender) being suspicious by default. It is often viewed to be highly suspicious when someone takes a vacation without their SO as well, which it CAN be but really doesn't have to be. If your boyfriend goes on vacation with a male friend, they might also hook up with some random girl on vacation. On the 1st story, did everyone figure out what was going on? The father's coffee shop business couldn't open in the morning due to needed the 2FA key for the register that was setup such that only his son could get the verification codes. He's literally loosing money and can't work due to his son won't answer his phone and doesn't have 2FA setup such that his dad can get the codes. This whole situation was initiated due to the son's lack of foresight and irresponsible behavior in not answering phones or texts. If he is the sole recipient of the 2FA codes, he's basically on call 24hrs a day and needs to respond ASAP. He can't turn off his phone's volume during business hours. He's kind of the idiot here for doing so. But I do agree if the father entered the house without knocking or announcing himself, he did go to far. I'm just commenting that his father was desperate and the son seemed to be ignoring their efforts to contact him.

In a case like this story, if you are in a relationship or married, and you get feelings for someone else? You need to end the current one you are in before you even try anything. You clearly don't like them anymore if you are just able to fall for someone else. I do agree that you can't control your feelings, things do happen. But the moment you end up liking someone else means your current is over. If you truly love someone, you wouldn't fall for someone else. In the case you give about falling for someone who is married. Obviously you can't help that. Chase or not, it will hurt if that person doesn't like you back, but then is it really love? or just a crush? I mean maybe my viewpoint on love is different, but to me love should go both ways, if its one sided then its just a crush and not actual love. Sometimes a crush can be strong enough to feel like love, but love isn't one sided.

Overtime those feelings will die down, its kind of like a honeymoon phase but platonic and with a friend and again: It happens to almost everyone at some point wether they take the healthy route to admit it or not. I agree that things happen. Feelings can change. However, I do feel the wife SHOULD divorce him. If he was able to fall for his coworker, what's to say he won't fall for someone else? He clearly doesn't think about what his wife feels about this situation. To me it seems his feelings for his wife are less and maybe doesn't love her. For the last story, I really need some clarification on why OP is being completely demolished. He recognizes his inappropriate feeling for a coworker and is working towards rectifying this, but is a villain because he's married? He talked to his wife about this about how she's working with him to get the therapy he needs to understand why his feelings are inappropriate and to move past them without losing his friendship with someone he cares about. If the coworker is that perturbed by OP, she should make it clear that they are coworkers and coworkers only, and anything more is off the table. He has not seen or spoken to her in four days and can no longer she if she is online to communicate with her. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he's very active on social media and recently noticed these changes because it does take a minute to notice patterns on the internet. Why is OP being crucified when he is asking for advice on how to proceed? His question was barely even answered before receiving a verbal beatdown from the narrator l, and I think that it's because OP is a guy with severely underdeveloped people and emotional skills.

Am I the only one who thinks that in the last story the narrator was kind of harsh on this poor guy. I mean yes it would be best not to contact her after she explicitly said "lets not talk" but also this guy didn't choose to have these feelings and he still seems to love his wife dearly. Sorry but I really don't agree with this one.

honestly i think the 2nd story couple should probably break up, they cant live together he's happy to travel with someone who he knows has a crush on him when hes dTing someone and she's jealous it just doesnt sound like a great situation at all

gotta ask, if OP is really the one dating the guy, then why is he fine living with the other girl but not OP. Was it a distance thing or are they just bad together.

Ya the Father is insane for using the emergency key just to get the code for the coffee shop and the mother is worse so make sure a security system and if they try to do illegal stuff to the OP and her boyfriend then they can get those irresponsible parents.

OP'S boyfriend should just not be involved with his dad's coffee shop, let him deal with it. It's clearly not worth it in the long run and I can see this escalating to something far worse with OP'S health being compromised.

Not sure if they're American or not, but for many Americans, two weeks is their entire yearly vacation. And yeah, who goes to Hawaii and Iceland? They're literally in opposite directions for a US based person. I guess it's doable from Europe since it looks like most trips to Hawaii from London have layovers in the US, to it's typical to travel west.

I admit I had a similar thing happen as the second poster. After contact was cut off (and I do admit it was definitely a jerk move to end up having an intellectual attraction to someone that isn't my wife) I left it alone. I saw where she was coming from. I'd see her from time to time and we'd literally just say "Hi. How are you? Fine. Good" I think what happened in my case, and what may be happening in the OP's case, is there's a missing connection with the SO.. It allowed me to reevaluate and work on the connection with my wife. We divorced later due to her feelings changing towards me, but that's neither here nor there.. The person I was attracted to and I were in a workshop together for a month.. Mon-Fri.. This was after the divorce. She made a comment to me once about "I imagine you saw me in the workshop and thought "Aw F*** it's her"" Honestly I didn't even think about it. Oddly enough, it was a workshop on Emotional Intelligence..

Just saying I d go on a vacation to Hawaii or Iceland. If some one else paid. Only reason I wouldn’t let my husband would be because I want to go lol. But our relationship is marriage and there no chance either of us would cheat. We don’t like to many people.

So you would go on a trip with someone who has a major crush on you, and leave your husband behind? I feel sorry for your husband. You say you would go "If someone else paid" but your forgetting the story isn't about just someone paying for his trip and him going alone. Its about going WITH the person paying, who happens to have a crush on them. That would be a red flag.
