I had a '64 Plymouth Savoy for a time when I lived in Los Angeles. It was totally plain Jane--slant 6, three on the tree, basic transportation and nothing more. It was a beige color. I really liked that car. The front grill design and the back tail lights were just enough to give the car a cool look, even though it was just a plain Jane. I ended up trading it for a motorcycle. I've always told myself that if I ever find another one, I will get it.

Having lived daily driving classic cars exclusively for many years, I have to counter that with Classic car: dumb little things will go wrong frequently. Today your voltage regulator is bad for a third time. Your brand new alternator exploded for no reason. Surprise! Your choke doesn’t work anymore. Your fuel pump is pumping fuel just fine, but suddenly most of it is going into the crankcase for a special treat. Your new belts squeak just like your old belts! All of those bits of rust and grime that have been rolling around in the tank for thirty years just found their way to your fuel pickup, and the truck you drove two hours without issue yesterday won’t run anymore today. Enjoy your time spent on the side of the road! With that caveat, I agree 😁 and it’s usually simple stuff that is easily diagnosed and fixed.
