These cuties really are adorable little seedlings, and most of them now are all much bigger and potted up into bigger pots, I have been harvesting more Epiphytic seeds and keeping some different varieties aside to send to you very soon, I am just waiting for the Epiphyllum pegasus seed pod to fully ripen before harvesting the seeds and I can add them to your seed package haha, its almost ready to pick as its getting more soft and grape like, thanks so much Sylvia for your wonderful comments and support and for watching, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to Malta for a super afternoon XXXX

I use the humous tub method. Give it a good clean. Punch some small holes in the bottom and your ready to go. The lid protects seeds from air bourne nasties.

Really interesting to see all your babies, especially those from seed you & Hans have collected from your plants. I’ve got lots of Astrophytums and Lithops among other exciting things to sow. I’m waiting to get space in the propagator though: when the weather gets milder, I can get the Brugmansia cuttings out and acclimatised! Have you ever grown Conophytums at all? I’d like to try them, so am doing a bit of research.

At this stage how do you water them? Like adult cacti watering sparingly, or more generously since they are still seedlings?

Swis ArmyFist I have about 150 seedlings of various cacti I started in December. Nowhere close to these but they are growing little spines! Not yet at the elongated tic tac stage but they’re getting there.

Hi Eric :-D I still keep these very lightly watered, I let the soil dry out very slightly just to allow the top of the soil to dry and then I will lightly water again to prevent the delicate root hairs from drying up, XXXXX
