Something that I wanted to clarify on, me saying "Not being able to eat 95% of what's in grocery stores" was a massive over exaggeration and I should've clarified that. There are many options out there and lots of foods that are naturally gluten free, and I'm working on a video talking about different gluten free foods you can find in stores.

From one Celiac to another. I'm so sorry to hear that you went through that. I have three sons and their stories are all unique. I can relate the fact that you kept many of your feeling to yourself. I'm sad that genetic testing isn't more readily available and should absolutely be included in a diagnosis, not just blood testing because you may not have the antibodies left to trace them. I hope everyone tells their doctor that they need genetic testing so you don't left years go by without a proper diagnosis.

hey brother, ur video was very relatable as i was diagnosed about 6 months ago. I was just wondering if your brain fog ever went away, and was also wondering if it feels like it effect your vision in a way?
@WiseWordsofWill

The brain fog does definitely go away from gluten itself but it's extremely important to not be anywhere near where it could be in the air because that is more than enough to worsen the brain fog again. I have an aunt who ended up needing to move because she lived on a farm near a wheat field and even that caused issues. For most people, brain fog typically clears up after about 3 months. And yes it did affect my vision but it's hard to describe how, kind of like everything was fuzzy sort of?

People don't understand until they go through something similar or if they suffer in other ways usually they have more empathy and thought of others

That is 100% valid. The thing that sucks is that these tests only work when you're actively eating gluten so I completely understand feeling like it isn't worth it. If you're eating gluten still it probably is worth it for medical reasons, make sure they give you the newer celiac panel (tTG immunoglobulin or DGP antibody test) because they gave me the outdated IgA test and those are extremely inaccurate, I wish you the best

I gotta find an organic gluten free bread and some more organic snacks that are gluten free, Do you think it was worth eating gluten for the test because I am worried about permanent stomach problems from eating the gluten for the test I've taken Psychedelics and I feel like any tiny amount effects me, I'm 21 so idk if my stomach would heal as fast
@WiseWordsofWill

If you’re already eating gluten free I honestly don’t have a concrete answer on that. I think it really depends on how much the official diagnosis matters to you. If you have it narrowed completely down to gluten from different diets, I personally would probably just stick with it. But as for stomach damage, going back on gluten for a couple weeks would absolutely suck, and probably have lasting effects for a bit that you can feel, but I don’t think you’d have any permanent consequences going back for a couple weeks for the test. Also as for bread and snacks, funny you mention that because I’m currently working on a tier list video for a bunch of different gluten free breads and snacks, likely the next video I upload.

@@WiseWordsofWill that's so funny definitely looking forward to seeing what you think about the breads and I did narrow it down to gluten for years but I also feel horrible if I eat eggs and dairy on top of gluten
