Holy $hit !! I seldom comment on videos and almost never on someone's guitar playing, but that solo was in-sane.. Im sure most appreciated it, but I wonder how many people in that crowd realize the thousands of hours of practice that goes into looking and sounding that natural and effortless.. That part in the middle coming out of the big power chords was as fluid as you can be.. Hats off Mr. Buck !!

Chris, thanks for a great show in Hull last night and come back soon (even up here to Scarborough if you like). A couple of years ago I was watching a random demo of that KoT online when my ears pricked up for the quality of the playing, which has since become unmistakable. It was you... and that demo was the first time I'd heard you play. It was nice to spot it on the board yesterday!

That’s the coolest Super Reverb I’ve ever seen. I own 3 mid 60’s Super’s currently. It’s my favorite Fender amp ever made. It even beats the Tweed amps I’ve owned, including really good Bassman’s. The bland black on silver can get a bit mundane. If I ever come across a cosmetic basket case Super, I might just give it the brown face treatment!

Interesting ... all those pedals going into the front of two Fender amps? No effects loop for delay and verb? I can't argue with success. It sounds great.
@castleanthrax1833

When you get your overdrive from pedals, all the modulation/reverb/time based sounds are already after the "dirt" so it eliminates the need to put them after the pre-amp.

I’d be really interested in hearing the stage volumes you generally run. 2 1/2 on the amp is still running fairly clean, right? Maybe a video on setting amps/pedals to get ideal tone at stage friendly volume? I find it’s easy to make a loud amp sound great, but as you pull it back it can be difficult. Would love pro tips!

CHRIS!!!!!!! Hey doood i notice on your solos they tend to not cut as much as maybe you’re looking for. FOH is doing the best they can. Have you tried a Boss GE-7 at the end of your drive pedals. You just need a little bump of 1.2-1.6 and you’ll be slicin thru that mix without dramatically changing your tone. Maybe check out the XTS version. Cheers!

I have a blueshawk with a varitone that I use as my open G guitar. And it does need an extra boost it next to my other guitars. That said it’s an underrated tone sculpting tool. It gives you lots of tones that may sound weird or unconventional on their own. But in a full band mix are amazing.
