State police said Shawn Dedominicis and Karissa Brewer moved 24-year-old Ri'Kiah Griffie's body after she died in their Towne Towers apartment in October of 2022. As a former drug user, I would NEVER put the responsibility of someone not helping me on them like Steve just did. Her mom knew what she was going to go do. Her mom knew they did drugs together and yet she still dropped her off there. I know her body was found and it was 2 other individuals but this mom threw his name all over social media and the police department. He had absolutely nothing to do with it and she should owe him an apology. And Steve if you really want to go there, your wife knew you had a drinking problem and didn't get you help which lead to your accident so should we blame her? No cause others bad habits are not everyone's responsibility...

But that’s on her she’s 24 living with an older man getting him hooked on drugs. She was a grown woman who made her choices. It’s not up to a friend to baby sit her. Yea maybe he could have done more, but it looks like she did a lot of crap to this man and he was done with her. Sometimes to get clean you have to cut a junkie off. That’s probably what he did. Furthermore, the way he charged at the Mother at the start made me sick. Yes she knows her daughter, she gave birth to her and raised her and was in contact with her regularly. As a former 24 year old drug addict… I was 100% to blame for my drug problem…. I’ve been sober 9 years now…. But I don’t like how he said “you blamed the 24 year old for her own drug problem” what? Addiction is horrible. It is absolutely a disease…. But some man she probably used to get high is not to blame…. I say that because that is just part of being a young addict…. And that’s just how it goes…. If he called EMS for her overdose that IS the exception… because most drug buddies will never call EMS and they will leave you to die. Not saying he deserves an award for that by any means…. but I feel the finger pointing here was odd and uncalled for

Here's the full story of how she sadly died. ALIQUIPPA ― State police investigators have charged two people with the abuse of a corpse after they were accused of hiding the body of 24-year-old Ri'Kiah Griffie two years ago. According to court documents filed Tuesday morning, charges were filed against 33-year-old Karissa Brewer of Aliquippa and 36-year-old Shawn Dedominicis of Coal Township. The two suspects are allegedly responsible for transporting and hiding Griffie's body inside an abandoned building behind the Towne Towers apartments shortly after she reportedly died of an accidental overdose in 2022.

At the end of the day she was a GROWN woman who can make her own decisions drug addiction or not , the mom just wants someone to blame instead of herself you failed as a mother when you knew your child had a drug problem & did nothing about it. Putting the responsibility on anyone but the mother & her grown daughter is irresponsible.
