I concur with your wonderful life of living with Bowie. I never got to meet him but I still feel his loss on a daily basis. As a teenage boy growing up in South Wales I was bullied and ridiculed on a daily basis for being a Bowie fan but I have never regretted sticking to my guns and took the heat with pride. As I grow older his influence on me grows stronger and will never diminish. Great video….thanks for the walk down memory lane with you 👏

Hello aunty Carol, my name is Randel. I'm 20. My both parents died in their early age. My mom was died from childbirth. Then just left myself and my dad. My dad used to sing Starman while putting me to sleep when I was just a toddler. Years later my dad died from a car crash after his 36th birthday, when I was 14 at that time. 2 years later the song Starman kept in my mind. When I turned 18, I discovered David Bowie where my dad kept all of his albums. From then I'm Bowie fan til now and probably until I die. After watch your documentary, I'm happy with joy and tears. And I'm amazed of what you gone through with Bowie's life, your music involvement and films. Thank you for inspire me to move forward and God bless you.

@@MiniMovieMamas Aunt Carol, some times I feel a little strange. I mean my both parents are not around and my idol also not around. I had fond of Bowie since 2018. Beside my dad, my mum also had some of her Bowie's collections like the Aladin album, Young Americans, self title David Bowie 1 & 2, Station to Station and through out The Thin White Duke to Let's Dance. I think my dad was influenced to my mum especially Ziggy Stardust album. I don't know how they met though I never knew my mum. For now, I just move forward with every Bowie's album. Ya one of the part in your document you said its very making you upset and sad when your friends look at you some kinda weird as Bowie's fan. Some day I will travel all over Europe, England, America, Mexico where ever Bowie footsteps are. Sorry if I use the present tens. People never dies as long someone remembers them😊

Absolutely love your story, I’ve been a fan since 1972 and I first saw him in northern England the following year on the Ziggy tour and then through the years on numerous other tours, although I don’t think as many as you, I finally saw him with my wife in the US on the Reality tour just outside Houston TX at the Woodlands Pavilion April 29th 2004 and he was better than ever, sadly as you will know he became very sick later that year and didn’t tour again! Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and he was and is for me also the one constant music interest throughout my life! RIP David!

Simply beautiful. I first hear Bowie in 1969 when I was 7. Space Oddity was played a lot around the time of the first moon landing. We had a teacher who played the song and spoke about it with great enthusiasm. It was a few years later than David would appear on Top of the Pops [a British TV staple on Thursday nights]. I was hooked. Totally hooked. You caught so much of my feeling at that time. He was so different. So compelling. He began to influence how I drew and painted and my compositions in English lessons at school. I got a ribbed a bit too. I only got to see Bowie three times back in the 80s. My parents would not allow me to go to concerts as a young teen. I never met him :-( Anyway, thanks for making the video. What the story with all the crosses?

I would like to recommend, respectfully Carol, the film documentary by Thai filmmaker here, kzitem.info/news/bejne/z41j3WSXqIN7imk , where I have expressed my deepest feelings for David, ein Held of Holy Germany, and a Dharma Defender.
