Yeah man I searched everywhere for a DIY on a Super Mag and couldn't find anything at all! I may have set the limbs back on too much of an angle, but it still works just fine. And this car port is anchored to a concrete slab/pad so it shouldn't be going anywhere! It's very heavy as well being all metal. Thanks for watching and commenting brother!

Thank you my brother for those kind words. Yeah Anthony's strings are great! And your right, Jesus is our Lord & Savior so I try to give Him the glory in all I do including my archery - even if it's just His name or a symbol of Him in my bows. (Actually all my bows have something on them pertaining to Jesus.) It's 4:25am over here and I actually just got done doing a few hours of night shooting this bow when it's quiet, peaceful, and of course about 15° cooler! It's so relaxing, and since I'm off from work for the summer I can stay up all night like a teenager again! 🤣😉 Thanks and God bless ya!

Do you have a build along or did you order the limbs and make the riser?
@joedaniels4646
3 ай бұрын
@@christophertracey7201 I had the limbs they are 35# limbs from one of my Sinoart archery bows. The bow was on sale for only $71 but came with 35# limbs, so I took them off and got 40# limbs from Walmart on line. (You can get any pound Sinoart Falcon replacement limbs from Walmart for only $35!!!) So I have the limbs lying around, and made the riser out of Red Oak boards I bought at Lowe's.

@@christophertracey7201 I couldn't find anything on anyone doing a self bow Super Mag ... So I made my own spec's. It's 51.25" Rip to tip. Strung I like it at 47.5 - 48" the limbs are set back at a 62° angle and brace height is 11 to 11.5". The riser is exactly 12" long and the top of the shelf where the arrow lays is exactly dead center at 6"! Most make the handle center and then set the shelf about an inch and a half up from there. But my shelf is dead center of the riser and the bow. It it dead even tiller also. This bow shoots amazing!!! I love it.

Why thank you my friend! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to view this and place very nice compliments. It means a lot to me coming from you. I hope and pray you are finding some time to get out and shoot some arrows. I have think I am going to just leave the bow as it is. As far as the carport, it's anchored down into a 20'x20' concrete slab and it's a strong metal frame ... So I don't think it's going to blow away any time soon. Thanks again brother and God bless ya!

WOW!!! That’s awesome. So the arrow, as nocked on the string, is dead center vertically? I am going have to dig into this further. Thanks for watching my stuff and commenting and letting me know you have a channel. I am subscribed and will be checking out some of past videos and looking forward to upcoming ones. Take care.
@joedaniels4646

Well the nocking point on the string is not dead center it's up maybe a quarter inch or about five eight's, but the arrow laying on the shelf is exactly dead center of the bow because I made the shelf dead center of the riser and the top and bottom limbs are exactly the same length. (The riser is 12" long, and the high point of the shelf is right at the 6" mark . So the arrow lays dead center.) If shooting feathers I probably can get away with the arrow nocked dead center, but because I like to shoot vanes too, I set the nocking point up just a tad for clearance. No matter what I think the point on the string should never be completely vertical to the shelf, but the arrow lays on the shelf dead center of the bow. The center of the bow is not somewhere located in the handle as all bows that I have are And as you stated in your video. Thanks for watching, subscribing, and God bless you!

@@TraditionalArcheryJourney let me know his thoughts on it. I'm not that good of an archer, yet for some reason this bow makes me shoot a lot better. To me it just makes sense to have the arrow shoot from the center of the bow at even tiller to be more accurate. But hey, what do I know, I just got into archery about 3 yrs ago late in life. Thanks and God bless.
