Amazing setup man! This is all I do for a living as well. Anyone saying this is "too much stuff" doesn't understand every time you do a wedding with all that gear it's an advertisement to everyone at the wedding or event for your next event. Plus hopefully that's $2000 in upgrades! Well done!

Nice spread Bro! I dig the placement of the scanners on the backside spraying back towards the stage, sure it creates a multi-dimensional effect instead of everything beaming in the same direction. You and a few others have once again inspired me to shoot a vid log of my "everything" set up, rather than the smaller rigs. Noticed comments above. This isn't too much, when you have it, you can offer it to the market willing to pay for big production. And yes, it take time, but worth the money

Jason that is a really nice, clean and functional setup! One suggestion! Bass is omni-directional! You can place the bin most anywhere! The more distance from the floor, the more emphasized it will seem! A 60hz standing wave could be better centered on your dance floor! In the picture it is impressive, but a real trip hazard. Just a suggestion!

Just saying for all of the Mobile DJ's/live sound/Audiophiles. A BBE is an absolute MUST for you. A WORLD of difference in the sound. It doesn't enhance the sound persay. It delays frequencies so the drivers arent slamming it all out at once. Running one on 2x EV QRX series Tops, and 2x EV QRX dual 18 woofers. Sounds Fantastic!

I own two licenses for Traktor Pro 2, Serato DJ and Virtual DJ pro 8 and since I converted over from vinyl years ago I find that Virtual DJ to be the most stable software, don't get me wrong I love Traktor pro 2 but it doesnt play nice with my DDJ SZ, as of MacBook....What an over priced joke!!!!! (Lenovo z710 and Asus Rog) is the laptops I use. I love your set Jason and it's not to much but the only thing I would change about your other set up is your truss system, I've seen way to many of those ole school trusses fail, I use American DJ dura truss (light bridge)and it's pretty friggin stable. As always practice and enjoy

Great setup. My only gripe is the Laserworld unit. Although you'll probably never get hit with a fine from the FDA those lasers are in fact not legal. Just search for their variance. I'd move forward from here with X-Laser or CT Lasers going forward. Also, are your beams blocked from the audience? 300mW is bright enough to annoy and possible give "flash" headaches to your guests. Other than that your setup is SUPER clean man. Good job.

I am looking for a minimal setup, for home/personal use... I'm thinking a pair of powered 12" tops, and later add a sub... would I need more than this for outside? Mostly rock and country, and budget oriented.... I'm looking at Behringer speakers. Any input on that and a couple decent lights that give good value effects.... I'd love to someday become a real/paid DJ, but for now plan to just do personal stuff and collect gear... I have an iPod, laptop, Pioneer DCFile, turntables, and soon CDJ
