Thank you, Julie. I use my Gorilla wood glue when working with fabric, as it works really well, but any sort of craft fabric glue can be used. :)

It is modern day, in a farmhouse style. The whole dolls house is my dream home in miniature! :)

I have never heard of a door curtain--is that a UK/Europe thing?

I think so. Door curtains have been around since the 16th century and actually came before window curtains, as wooden shutters would have been used. Certainly here in the UK, in some older houses, we need them to keep the draughts out! :)

I was just about to ask the same thing. I've never seen one over an exterior door before. Just closets and cabinets. It's so cozy! I personally would have put the oatmeal color on the back and have the gingham in the front... but I'm obsessed with gingham. 😍😍😍
