Chassis slap not only is not an issue it's a desirable trait. You want the chassis to hit the ground to absorb the hit so the shocks and shock mounts don't have to. In order to make these RC cars not chassis slap you have to make the suspension so stiff that it doesn't actually work anymore. People don't realize that at scale a 2-ft drop on one of these cars is equivalent to 20-ft drop on a full-size vehicle. Also the shocks on these vehicles are very primitive compared to their full-sized counterparts. You're never going to get the suspension to be able to completely absorb big jumps and handle properly.

New subscriber here getting back into the hobby and have been catching up on your older videos. That's a cool unconventional setup that's working really well for your terrain. I've seen quite of your RCs get upset at speed by the dip in your yard there. I love your enthusiasm, it really reminded me of all the things I used to love about RC cars

very nice. you should look at "razor tune e revo" . he was looking for the same answer as you, used slightly thicker oil, the progressive 3 rear arm, and a slightly higher rated spring. Traxxas provided 1, 2 and 3 for the little rocker arms for the suspension, and they have been ignored by the community at large.

My esc doesn’t ever seem to get that warm, hard to check though. On 4 cell i can drive as hard as i want for the whole battery.
