Until I watch this video, I also believed that the English enviroment let me get better in English within several months. However, it is only a myth. That episode is so convincing because you have experienced that despite the current fluency. Also, it is exact that I have never seen or heard those who became to utilize English rapidly. The phrase, "You can speak English in three weeks!", looks fascinating phrase, but we should not believe it and do not have to blame ourself even though we do not feel the growth as an English learner. I expect and am confident that I can get better as far as keep learning.
I'm currently fluent in British, American, New Zealand & Australian English. Your video inspired me to learn Canadian English .. I think I can do it!! Wish me luck!!

Chinatsu-san, your English is EXCELLENT! Sorry for "shouting", but there are so many idiots on the internet. I am a native English speaker, & I speak with an "educated" accent. I've been to university. Please believe me when I say that your English is: superb, very fluent, & also charming to listen to. Thank you for this wonderful channel. I am learning so much from you! ðºð»

Thank you!!!! I'm humble!!! I sometimes get sPiCy comments saying like "your English is ...blah blah blah"...haha! (I mean, I try not to care, but it still annoys me...) but I've got an approval from a Melbournian(...Apparently it's a word?) I'm so honoured! haha! Thank you so muchð¥ºâ€ïž

Your pronunciation is really beautiful. I'm learning and referring to it.
You're right you can be anywhere if you only want to speak English. But it's a fact that living in English native countries would improve to "hear" real English. I know many people still have strong accent after living there over decades but their listening level is just like native. In the US, even I speak both the languages, no one is impressed because so many people can speak English and Spanish fluently. You never learn English overseas if you only hang out with international students.
Iâve started studying in Australia since four days ago, I really really know what you say in this video! Whichever I can make a choice in my life is valid or not is up to myself! I will change myself during this program ð (if I make some mistakes please correct them ð¢)
Hi Chinatsu-san! Thank you for ur interesting content as always. But Iâve got opinion? so im gonna share what i thought bc u told us âwe gonna discussâ at the beginning. Im 16 Iâve been living in Canada for half a year as study abroad. Itâs obvious though i feel my English skills have improved in those spans. I know what u said that âdonât expect too much bc itâs not healthyâ but i think to feel rushed is sometimes important. I mean we can only say like that people who are doing their best. I just dont wanna people misunderstand it lol The same goes for the text book that insists uâll be able to master English in three months only by the book!! .. As u told us, we never ever saw people who achieved in that way. Same here lol but i never ever saw anyone who had put much effort into it for three months neither. so i cant say anything about the effect of text book though i think sometimes feeling fear and rushed bc of the limited make us grow. ( if some portion doesnât make sense, i apologize lol)

I really enjoyed this video. I totally agree with you. Our English skills will never ever improve as long as we don't engage in something related to English or do proactive learning by ourselves. There is no royal road. However, I'd like to enjoy my English learning journey. English allows me to meet new people, interact with them and know a lot of new htings. I like it very much. And thnaks to English, I could encounter you. (^^)

You can be the first person who proves â it takes only 10 mins to be bilingual â if you wantððð
English is the most general language of course, so if we want to learn and get a high academic intelligence, we canât avoid to understand English. Iâm not native of English, and certainly, I donât think that we have to go abroad to learn English same as you. If you went to other countries to learn language in spite of have no idea what you want to get sense for, Itâs so ridiculous!!!! But for listening and speaking skill, and to make global friends, it may have good effect. We have to know we are the same just only speaking different languages. Our mutual understanding is indispensable. Of course maybe, building the Tower of Babel again will lead us to doomsday butâŠ.
