The very secret society for irregular witches is amazing, it has a a grumpy x sunshine romance, and an adorable found family, and magic!!! Definitely recommend!

You should definitely read the secret history and if we were villains. They were both five star reads for me. I would recommend reading first the secret history!😊 I couldn't stop reading them. Magnolia parks universe also is really good, you have to get used to that writing style. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY I ENJOY WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS!!!

thank you!! :) I've heard that the secret history is basically the blueprint for dark academia so I do want to read it first! I think I'll like Jesse Hastings writing (I hope lol)

This was a really fun video!! Just a heads up about Beartown--I haven't seen Friday Night Lights, but my impression is that it's a feel good team story with motivated coaching, right? Fredrik Backman does characters and relationships super well, but Beartown is pretty heavy bc the plot centers on the aftermath of one of the players sa-ing a girl in the town, so just be warned of that going in!! Less important but perhaps still relevant lol: Backman is Swedish, so I think that the book is set in a town in Sweden as well!! Anyways lol, hope this helps!! Also, King of Scars has characters and plotlines from the Six of Crows and Shadow and Bone series, so if you want to get all relevant plot/characters, then it's good to read the series S&B-->SoC-->KoS, but if you aren't enjoying the S&B trilogy (I thought it was okay, but not super memorable), then you can read the SoC duology (my personal favorite series ever) on its own imo!! Sorry for the long comment ahhh, but I hope this was maybe a little bit helpful at least? Anyways, I really had a nice time watching this video and I hope you enjoy these books tons!! Best wishes!!

I am also in the same predicament, buying full series and then being intimidated 😂 For Leigh Bardugo, the ninth house is a separate storyline/world than shadow and bone. I’m currently reading Poppy War and absolutely loving it!!

lol what were we thinking?? ok i didn't know if they were connected because everything is called the grishaverse... I guess it's just the universe that all of her books take place in..? and yay for the poppy war! I feel like it's one I'm going to continue putting off for wayyyy too long

@@MaddysLibrary As far as I know, Ninth House is not set in her Grishaverse universe. It's completely separate from those books.

I also have the similar problem of putting off books I think I'll love for later. It became so bad that I had to start using a RNG for picking out my monthly TBR💀 I love your collection though, and that was a very comforting video to watch☺️

I love these type of videos. Recommendations of which books to read.. I read The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches and it is a cozy romance read and gave it five stars, I have been wanting to read Ninth House and sounds like a good a read. For which order to read the authors books on the ones you have the King of Scars you have to read after Six of Crows Duology. Reading A Court of Mist and Fury at the moment at it is so good. I want to read Carissa Broadbent's other series called Crowns of Nyaxia that is compared to the hunger games with vampires. I have plans to read the first book next month. The Shadow of the Gods looks like a good read, and Fourth Wing is soo good and already have the second book pre-ordered and I understand the mixed reviews on the book. I have the Throne of Glass series on my list to read next year. I have plans to read Gallant, Legendborn, I have heard good things about A Deadly Education, and Renegades. I am reading the ShadowHunter series at the moment. I have my own physical copy of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and I still have to read it. I have read the first book of The Naturals series and it is so good. I am slowly getting into mystery/thriller I am usually a fantasy person. Hope that helps and good luck reading!
