Nice video. Kind of high level. But nice. FYI, all your links in the description are out of date.

"Launch with video" is fantastic! I am going back to this course over and over again. It has everything you need to start and scale your KZitem game. I'm not even following everything yet and I'm seeing that I'm gaining traction on KZitem. Thanks so much Amanda!

Amanda, I've been watching lots of your videos. I have to say I really like the way you light without all the weird "cinematic" shadows so many of the boutique KZitemrs use and proclaim to be sophisticated and cinematic. It's a bright, happy look. Shadows are sinister. And if you ever wanted to make people wary of your message and avoid doing businesses with you, go ahead, and use the cinematic lighting all these "experts" say is so hipster sophisticated and great...., and which, by the way, IMO looks like garbage ugly....and sinister. Amanda. You're a smart cookie.

Haha love this comment! Yeah, I'm all about SIMPLICITY! Having tons of colors, intentional soft shadows and all that jazz is just too much. Ultimately it's what you're saying that matters - the easier I can make the set up, the more likely I am to hit record (and that's what I teach).

Any hard drive recommendations for PC users? Looks like the one you use only works with Macs.

I use Samsung T5s and unRAID as a NAS. Synology is another user-friendly NAS for data backup.

I use Samsung Slim external drives which is fine for content creators just starting out. But as I expect a lot of video to be produced, I will be soon using Synology NAS dual drive (with 4TB mirrored). Toshiba HDD drives in the Synology are good. The advantage of Synology is that I can share files between 2 computers but one storage in NAS. Transfer speed is fast. You can install larger than 4TB drives if you like if you are filming in 4K instead of HD, such as 6TB or 8TB etc.

@@adrianvanleeuwen I would recommend wd reds the CMR type of red drives. Stay way from any SMR drives in your synology
