@2:00 check your diet. What you're calling a generalised anxiety disorder is a response to the foods you're eating. It will also be linked to your feng shui, the direction your bed faces when you sleep (in the northern hemisphere, you want the head of your bed facing south to line up with the magnet /gravitational pull of the sun and moon), this will deepen your sleep. As a general rule, seasonal eating is key to balancing the issue and avoiding consumption of sugar and honey, except in late summer. Sugar, honey or any sweetener will have an elevating and stimulating property that enhances the symptoms commonly presumed to be anxiety. Also be sure to eat plenty of meat to warm the body and ground the energy. Best to get wild caught, free-range, organic meats, or learn to hunt. We would have to sit down and do a full session, pulse, tongue and facial diagnostics, palpating as well as diet history and home visit to assist with the feng shui. Peace and good health.

While I completely respect your perspective and believe in multiple approaches to health, generalized anxiety disorder is very real and impacts many people. Validating that it exists is an important part of the health care experience. I completely agree that the foods we consume and our lifestyle factors contribute to conditions such as GAD. However, every individual is different and the same approach will not work for every single person. I appreciate your approach to this of course as I do agree that these factors play into this condition but it's important that in healthcare we validate what people are experiencing rather than telling someone that it isn't the case.

How many hours a week did you commit to studying outside the 30 hours spent in class during the semesters? 😊

Hi there, this was super dependent on the semester and year of the program. But I would say it was an average of 15-20 hours outside of classes. It's definitely a tough schedule to get used to but it was also important that I prioritized my mental health at the same time so I always made sure to take at least one day off per week, to get movement in almost every day as well as practice mindfulness techniques.
