2:09:31 You got it youngin.. tighten up.. Its frustrating watching his frustrations. Recalling similar frustrations around that age. Realizing what they showed you was bs because you can’t transfer tangibly to your community. I tried in the late 90s/2000s in my hood. Buying books rebuilding , rec centers, refurbishing pools. The kids loved it.. the city officials gave me all the push back 😢

IMHO Drake and 21 savage had the biggest album last year, and at one point the whole billboard top 10 was their album. Coachella and the other major music festivals have a rapper headlining or under the headliner. Lil baby is the littest rapper and has bars (don’t sleep on lil baby). Lil baby is one the most watched U.S. music artist on vevo via KZitem. Rap is not dead. If anything real rap is coming back after 7 years of mumbling madness and fake gangster rappers and old school disrespect. It’s a whole different era now. I think rappers are rapping a better today than they have the last seven years, ever since the term “mumble rap” was created. Symba was trying to say that the way rap is marketed is different today. Completely different and I agree. And btw symba if you read this: I fuck with you because of your RAPPING brother man brother man. This podcast just made me fuck with you even more gang 💯💯 Great episode
