I believe the verdict is out on which came out first being that no definitive release date has ever been confirmed. I've always understood that 13th Floor Elevators had them beat by a few weeks. Regardless, they both were a bit before Blues Magoos.

Some cool records. I might take the plunge with that album with the huge eye on the sleeve. It's in my local record shop and I've looked at it a few times but it's a bit pricey at £45 and I believe it's the 2nd pressing. The guy normally does me good deals so might haggle with him the next time I go in. You mentioned some albums by huge bands in the Doors, Floyd and Beatles. I don't know if you have it, but I've had added the Bee Gee's 1st album. A lot of people are reluctant to listen to it because it's them, but it's an incredible album. Also very modestly priced too. Again, because it's the Bee Gees.
