Oh my gosh. World Without End, the sequel to Pillars of the Earth, changed my life! I was at my local library (probably about 16 as well!) and pulled it off the shelf at random and it was one of those that just felt right my hands. Holy crap I had no idea what I was in for! SO good!! I had no idea it was a sequel until years later. 💕

I haven't ready ANY of your favorites and I trust your reading taste so much that I think I now have a very long list of books to read now! You are a literal human ray of sunshine and you have great taste in books! My favorite book of all time is Little Women. The 1st time I read it was when I was in the 4h grade. The book was basically as big as me lol. And I remember falling in love with it and wanting to be just like the March girls. It was the book that made me fall in love with reading. It has such a coziness and whimsy to it and it makes my heart so happy every time I pick it up.

I love that you skipped school to reread Pillars of the Earth. So very epic. My favorite book of all time is Tale of Two Cities. The writing is chef's kiss and I love how Dickens can take a cast of characters who seemingly have no connection and spin a story that weaves their lives together - so very human. My favorite adult fiction non-classic would have to be The Shell Seekers by Rosamunde Pilcher. Every time I read it (and rarely I reread anything, but this...) I ach to write a story that would affect folks like this does me. Love it so much. SAA's Garden Spells is close second and I for sure would recommend that one to you. 🦊💕

Ahhh I need to read The One by John Marrs!! I’ve read 7 of the books on this list & 3 of them are also in my all time favorite books. And all but 1 have been 5 star reads for me :) So I am getting some really great recs 💃🏻 Some of my absolute favorites I think you might like: Magic, Lies & Deadly Pies by Misha Popp - a woman who bakes magic pies that are used to kill men abusing their partners. also used for general wellness of others. features romance and a competition and found family. When The Moon was Ours by AM Mclemore - YA, magical realism, some romance, absolute stunning writing, & wonderful representation (imo) For romance Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez - one of the most beautiful stories I’ve probably ever read. deals with going into a new relationship after enduring trauma and abuse. A hint of magic(?), found family & good level of steaminess…also a goat lol. I also found this one to be so funny! Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston - wonderful depiction of grief and again, a little magical (realizing now all of these have a little or a lot of magic lol). I love this book SO much!!! These sound like books you might enjoy to me :) only the romances if you’re fine with heavier topics being dealt with in a romance. Some don’t like that!

Hi, Lexi! I just discovered your channel last weekend and I have binged so many of your videos I should probably be ashamed. 😂 I love your content and quirkiness! I’ve always enjoyed reading but I’ve always been so picky that I barely read anything. Stumbling on your channel has inspired me to give other books a try and open my heart to thinks I normally wouldn’t read. I’m currently reading The Snow Child after see it in a video and stumbling on a copy in my local Restore for only ONE DOLLAH!! My 9yo daughter and I also watched a video of yours to make a TBR list for her so I can spark her love of reading. I’m going to read the book first, have her read it, and then we’re going to discuss it together. Her age group was really hit hard by the pandemic so her whole class is behind on their reading abilities. I did want to ask. Have you ever done an FAQ video? I have so many questions to ask but you might have already answered all of them! ❤😅 (Ps! My daughter is Alexis and we call her Lexi! She was very excited when you introduced yourself!)
