We stayed there a couple nights in 2019 and loved it. We were in room 1865, a little further around toward Universal. Didn’t realize we had pictures of the hill with the Hollywood sign until I watched this. We went to Disneyland for 4 days after that, right after Galaxy’s Edge had opened. Fun and memorable trip.

Mr. The Woo: Just a WONDERFUL video; your current swing through Southern California has yielded some amazing adventures, especially for those of us who continue to be in love with SoCal/L.A./Universal, Warners & the Columbia Ranch. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your terrific combination of exploration, education, entertainment and crack archival skills. Whilst I love my Central Florida home close to Universal Orlando, WDW and all the rest, my heart still beats strongly each and every time I engage the sights, history & current energy of that wonderful & mysterious land known as The Valley. All-in-all, it’s all good in Hollywood! Be well, and thank you.

The terrain & Med-type climate of SoCa/LA give off a different vibe. Even the landscape is slightly different because of the weather. Although brief images of parts of Fla & parts of Ca sometimes look interchangeable, the wetter climate on the East Coast also makes certain shrubbery (extraterrestrial-looking plants) found in the LA area, etc, not as easily sustainable in parts of Fla

We were just at this hotel (swimming pool view) 13 days ago and I LOVE the Crabtree & Evelyn soaps and lotions...they smell SO good! Our room was super spacious...we were on the 15th floor. Wasn't happy about the crowds at Universal...there was a long wait for everything, bathrooms, foods and rides..with an autistic son that was very difficult. But the room was so relaxing and their pool is heated and the hot tub is spacious...plenty of seating and towels. Great experience, great hotel! (We also got free waters lol)

HEY ATW...I WAS HOPING YOU WOULD DO A ROOM REVIEW of your Hollywood Hilton Hotel accommodations. What a beautiful place to stay when visiting Universal Studios Hollywood. The oast time we went, I cheaped out and got a motel across the street . It was one of the worst experiences of our life. Now, I realize how important it is to pay the extra amount to stay in a nice place, even if it is for one night. Your room reviews are more valuable than you realize so folks know where the nice places are to retire for the night and know the room is clean and comfortable. Thanks pal.

I wanted to see the stuff they had back in the late 70;s but i guess I will never get to see that stuff. Like the old bridge, the ice tunnel which is now something else. The battlestar gallactica and so much more.I grew up in the 70's and 80's and loved those shows like bionic woman, six million dollar man etc. But I still love these videos, makes me feel like I am really there . And somewhere, on a different plane of existence, Arthur C. Clarke smiles, turns to Stanley and says, “I told you that line was magnificent & will live as long as literature itself!” And Mr. Kubrick acknowledges, nodding his head up and down with a wry grin on his face.
