This is true to Spielberg's vision for Jaws 2, but they ended up naming it Close Encounters of the Third Kind and got rid of most of the shark stuff.

It was around this moment of this special that I realized the On Cinema Oscar Specials are the media equivalent of having a stroke. There's something so weirdly disorienting in some of the scenes that I wonder if they can cause literal brain damage.
