I love gorgeous and interesting serving pieces and basically all beautiful tableware! I always appreciate a thoughtfully and beautifully set table. I also love to get ideas and inspiration from many sources, such as your lovely videos! However, wishing to be inspired it is much more effective if there are closeup shots so we are actually able to see all the items you are discussing. The wide shot was a beautiful establishing shot. However, a medium shot would be better when getting into the thick of things, with cutaways of closeups of each item as you are talking about it. I feel like I missed out on seeing most of the items on your table. I hope you take my advise as helpful and constructive criticism in the spirit it is intended. I started my professional career in the film and video production industry back in the mid 90s and feel like I’m sharing some beneficial tips that will definitely help out. Dear Nicolas. I would have never ever added the avocado to the rest of the dish because it was not only not fresh at all, but completely rotten I'm afraid! Despite this, I really enjoyed a lot your video. Go ahead! My advice to see wether an avocado is ripe and ready to be eaten or not when you want to buy one is to check out the point where the avocado joints with its peduncule. If its brown, the avocado is already in bad condition but if its green and the bottom of the avocado feels a little bit soft to the touch, then the avocado is ready and in perfect condition to be bought and eaten! Greetings Luis Manuel from Costa Rica.

Hi Nicolas! I share your passion for china and table settings. I love having different sets for different moods and occasions like brunch, a light summer dinner, autumnal Thanksgiving, tea time, etc. It’s so much fun! I recently found a terrific green set made in Portugal that has a slight uneven pottery feel to it, yet it is hard chinaware. That is actually the drawback of the cabbage ware which I also love and have numerous pieces of, that I have never seen it in chinaware but always in crockery ware, which chips so easily. 😏 As far as cups and saucers go, I agree with you so much. Mugs are fine but there’s something elegant and elevated about a fine teacup WITH a saucer. I really don’t like the look of a breakfast table, let’s say, where a mug sits flat-footedly next to the plate. It’s just sad. Lol. - All the best and more success with your channel and business 👍🏻

I absolutely adore the authentic, unapologetic approach you take to the items that become part of your home. No matter how big or how small, each piece has a wonderful reason for being there; it could be a cabbage milk jug, to add a bit of whimsy to the table while sharing tea with a friend, or it could be chalk painting a piece of furniture in a fresh new shade by Annie Sloan. I just love how nothing is about monetary value to you; it is genuinely the emotive experience that drives you and that is what sets you apart from so many others Nicolas, in what is unfortunately, a throw a way society. You really are showing us how to live more beautifully. Thank you and I hope you and Sophie have a wonderful weekend ☀️🐶💖

Hi Nicholas, love your videos of who you are and how you live. Wonderful tips and peaceful watching. Just what we need. Can I make a suggestion re your lidless teapot. This happened to me some years ago and I never wanted to throw out the pot. So I re purposed it. I bought an African violet plant (you can chose which colour that works with your pot), then put some small pebbles inside the base of the pot. Then added enough plant compost that would allow the plant to be placed on top. It depends on the amount of soil around your plant when you purchase it. Place the plant inside and distribute soil around it. The great thing about this is that you can water the plant through the teapot spout. I have tried it with other plants but violets seem to summon up the essence of an afternoon British tea. It really works and would suit your style perfectly. It can even be an addition to your tea table. Hope this idea inspires you even more. Best wishes

They show bunnies dressed up in clothing like the old postcards that showed cats dressed up in clothing doing things we humans do. Also, am getting rid of a Limoges set of cups and saucers because I think they're for espresso since they're too small for tea. Enjoy those yummy looking healthy salads! Your very first tea set deserves a lid so it can be used and properly loved. Congratulations on your new tea products which I think will be hot market items. Your dinner looked delicious. Thanks Nicolas🙏🏻❤️

Another interesting, innovative experience, it was, watching this video! Love the ideas you portraied, Nicolas. You have many fans, myself one of them, and we appreciate the effort, time, dedication, and of course, pristine effort you put in each episode. The word, "video" sounds too formal, and impersonal as such, lol!! Looking forward to more Spring ideas for my home! You rock!

I've been getting ready for spring as well and have been cleaning out my ktichen cupboards while my kitchen is getting renovated. I like to change things up at home in the spring and get more flowers from my market. Congrats on the new tea launch!

Nicolas, as usual your video was lovely. You had such a variety of topics and I look forward to ordering your tea. Also, Hello Fresh has been on my bucket list and I might just place an order now.

Nicolas the teapot without the top you could make a beautiful flower arrangement and put it in the center of your tea party table. I would love to see it, that’s a perfect vase for flowers.😊😊
