Sunday breakfast is such a luxury and one of my favorites is a pungko-pungko stall at Don Jose Avila Street (just a walking distance from Sacred Heart Hijas and Cebu Doctor's University Hospital). I love eating here because they serve freshly fried pungko-pungko items like ginabot (intestines), utok (brain), rinon (kidney), tungol (stomach), tambok (fat), liver, lumpia (vegetable spring rolls), longaniza and more.
Pungko-Pungko is a Cebuano favorite because it's cheap, crispy, and sinfully good. If you are not from Cebu, you better have a meal at a pungko-pungko the next time you visit my city. Local food is the best!!!
