Did you drill holes in the barrel? If there aren't holes in the barrel that vent into that blast baffle, then it's not actually doing anything but adding weight. Gas has to go into a muzzle brake to work. I understand how the gun works and i get why you put it on the handgaurd. But the barrel going past it, defeats the purpose. Now if you did drill holes in the barrel and i didn't hear you say that, my bad.

Hail and Good Morrow from the Oil Patch! Keeping my verbosity in check (you know us historians, 'tangents' are core to the way we think), I'm trying to find a SOLID and RELIABLE AR platform shotgun in .410ga. Why .410ga? 3 Compressions in my neck, 3 Herniations in my lumbar, Shoulder Joint issues, and of course, Malignant Congestive Heart Failure Class 3....... Home Defense is the operative concept within the above health criteria: .410ga is a solid round that will more than suffice for home defense, and the AR platform is the preferred platform for accessory reasons. So, since I know YOU are a Quality Knitpicker, I wanted to see if YOU knew of any, other than the Hatsan AR .410ga, which is already on my list, but for neither love nor money, can I find one; hence my query to you now. So, do you know of any that meet the two main criteria I've noted? Take care and I'll look forward to your next VLOG.... Cheers from the Oil Patch in Central WY

Bear creek arsenal makes a 410 upper for the standard ar15 lower
@jrbailey3208
Жыл бұрын
@@edjecollins4141 Yes they do: unfortunately, like too many others whom have ventured into the fray of the .410 Arsenal, they SCREWED it UP; they offer it ONLY chambered in 2.5", not allowing for 3" shells, except for the First Shot, which you must Load by Hand (the Mag will NOT accommodate the extra length). Though I would prefer Semi-Auto AR style, I've decided to wait for KelTec's offering in a Pump Shotgun, chambered in .410. The KelTec offering is based on their very successful KS7 platform, and does allow for 3" shells. Further, according to the info I have, it should be a 14 rounder, with Plus One in the Chamber to start off any use. Bear Creek quite often comes 'so close' to what people actually want, but then, well, then they get the willies, or something, and come up short nearly every time. They came out with a 'Piston System' for their AR's, with great fanfare, then that 'innovation' dropped off a cliff somewhere and I haven't heard word one about it since. Great ideas but piss poor follow through. Cheers from the Oil Patch in Central WY

I live in the Tristate area so justifying $1700 for that upper is a no for me. Why? Cause I’m required to have a fixed mag to the lower. So how would I speed load that? Unless the company mean arms makes a speed loader that can load shells through the ejection port like they do for the AR 10s ,15s.

OK explain something to me. What justifies the ridiculous price point on these shotguns? I understand that it's an American made product that I would want to support American companies. But why am I gonna spend 2 grand for a shotgun or 3 grand for a shotgun? What? I can buy 1 for 350 or even 250. That does the same thing. Because for me, ultimately, all it has to do. Is fire a shotgun round? Shoot? Repeat, shoot, repeat shoot. Repeat as long as it does. That. I don't see why I need to spend 3 grand on the shotgun. I am not an Exhibition shooter. But I came across this. Trying to do some research on AR style shotguns. Is it just simply the fact that they know? People will spend the money if the tell people. It's a competition shotgun that it has performance-enhancing features. Like, really, seriously, what makes it so much better? Tolerances craftsmanship. I don't give a c*** about how nice a shotgun looks. But if it is the performance explain to me how the performance is so much better. And I don't know why it costs so much more for removing less material to have tighter tolerances I don't know. I guess I'm just ignorant.

This uses a different system than anything else out there. It simply runs flawlessly. Most other semi auto shotguns use gas operation and struggle with different rounds or light loads. This runs better and more reliably than the $5,000 - $88,000 shotguns out there because of its system. This vídeo is the only one I've seen so far talking about this shotgun in a competition manner. Most other videos on them are covering the 7.5 inch or 10.5 inch barrel models for defensive shooting. 10 $350 shotguns that won't make it through all the ammo you find, aren't worth 5 bucks each. This shotgun actually runs
