There are similarities between Judaism and Islam. The difference is that Islam has a Jew-killing prophet who is reputed to have cut the heads off of 800 Jewish men in one afternoon after which Mohammed found and forcibly married that same day a Jewish women whos husband and father he had just murdered. Judaism doesn't have a prophet who is idolized and who is a murderer too. So no, they're not really similar at all. And no, you can't make this stuff up and there is no point in tippy toeing around it. To do so would be disingenuous.

_As-salam aleikum!_ I work in a craft store that has a wide variety of customers, from mainstream to conservative Mennonite to Muslim, and it’s always fascinating to see the difference in hairstyles and head coverings. The dental clinic where I take my younger daughter used to have a Muslim employee who had the snazziest hijabs, and I always raved about them (especially her hijab with the rhinestone embellishments-I’m a sucker for sparkly accessories!). It’s great to see people rocking their own style and still being modest at the same time!

For the angels left their first abode because of the beauty of women’s hair! It’s also spoken of in Corinthians which the Jewish people don’t read! It’s also spoken of in the tanak and Torah about women covering their heads and uncovering their heads when brought to or come in contact with certain people. The Talmud is where the command is written but is not actually found as a command in Torah but is most definitely understood in several scriptures and is also extremely modest and respectful when it’s done! The obedience shown when a woman covers her head cannot be described in words the Beauty they express in the eyes of a Ruach led man!! This is my wife’s account who covers her head and has no idea how beautiful she is in my eyes for her obedience! Thank you ma’am for sharing this! Shalom!.

I wish I had found this channel five years ago when I lost 30-40% of my already fine, thin hair after an unexpected cancer diagnosis, internal perforation that required surgery and then a wound vac for several months afterward. I was given a wig, but it was too dark and the combination of color and style weren't flattering on me. I needed a longer wig since I am Apostolic Pentecostal and the one the agency gave me was the only long one they had at the time. I wore it anyway, for about six months then in the heat of summer in the Midwestern US it got too hot and I wore scarves but could never get them to look as pretty as yours or to stay in place as well. By the grace of God I am cancer free now and my hair has grown back longer and thicker than before, but if I ever have need of a way to cover my head again I will remember these tricks. Ladies who have lost hair from cancer/treatment try a good biotin and collagen shampoo and conditioner or L'Oreal dream lengths, Garnier fructis grow strong shampoo and conditioner. I used all three and found them very helpful.

I am a traditional Roman Catholic (pre-Vatican II Latin mass), and most women in our church cover their heads while in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. Some of my friends cover all the time. I took particular interest in your tips on keeping your head coverings from slipping. I have extremely fine thin (and getting thinner!) hair and even with a wig comb sewn in it, my veils always slide. Hats make me too hot and some scarves are too heavy, whereas light ones are too slippery. Based on your tips, I should get myself a grip band and some bulk! Lol! Also - I just want to say that I also work and understand the struggles that women of traditional faiths face while raising families and working. Your videos are encouraging. Somehow it just makes a woman's intelligence, strength and holiness glow....one cannot but know that she is a blessed and beloved daughter of the Creator of the Universe. Thanks Leah for helping your Mom out and showing us how beautifully one can wrap hair. On another note, Sarah your cinematography and editing is top notch! I don’t know if it’s just you or you have a team to help, but the professionalism and pre-production work y’all put in, shows in all your videos. Keep up the great work!

I love the blue and white gradient scarf you used to demonstrate the turban wrap for work especially... it's so simple and yet so beautiful. I think it is my favorite of the head coverings you showed even though others have more patterns and embellishments. Thank you for sharing all of these videos and demystifying Orthodox Jewish customs!

I love Jewish headcoverings even though I'm not Jewish, I wrap my hair like I am. I appreciate the winter cap section of this video because I have caps but was actually afraid if I wore it I might snatch it off indoors and be headnaked in front of everyone. And I love the tied bonnets!!!!

As a witchy person, I hate how immodest clothes are. Just had to get wedding clothes and everything was so revealing and sheer. I'm not judging folks who wear that, I just want options. I've been peeping Islamic stores and really like the pants suit styles.

I love Jewish head covering! I wear a veil to church every Sunday and - while some people think it’s old fashioned or maybe they don’t have the same convictions as I do - I can wholeheartedly say I never feel more feminine than when my head is covered. I love my veil! I imagine you feel the same about your tichel😃

I've also started to wear a veil to church (Mass). It does feel very different when we are doing something to show reverence to our creator. I also feel quite feminine and have done beautiful veils. I was afraid of vanity at first until I realized that putting the Lord first made it right and just.

Sarah, what a wonderful video again! Thanks to Miss Leah for modeling, beautiful 🤩. Although I am Greek Orthodox and from Greece, I love your channel-it is important to watch and see other cultures and religions in order to broaden one’s horizon. Just as a quick info, in the older days my grandmother always used to wear a scarf to cover her hair, it was also in the Greek culture tradition to do so. My best regards to you from Thessaloniki-Greece, where we still live in peace and respect with so many of our Jewish neighbors and friends. May you and your family be safe and heathy. Thank you to your beautiful daughter for being a model today; thank you for this video. I am the woman who had a wonderful grandmother who was Jewish, she was, along with my other grandmother, the women who loved and cared for me. My parents were married almost 60 years when my father passed, so I was raised in a home with two parents. Short and sweet, my mother wanted her career, not another child and not a girl. My siblings are male. I am thankful my grandmothers loved me. I lost my husband of 36 years in June and I am curious to know if a Jewish woman who is a widow must still cover her hair? I enjoy your videos so much, they help me and you always at the end say how perfect and loved we are. Thank you…. P.S. I don’t like the wigs, no. I love your beautiful scarves.

As part of my course at university, I've been studying literature about Jewish immigration to the U.S., like Abraham Cahan and Anzia Yezierska, and I've been so fascinated with Jewish culture after reading these authors. It's something I've not encountered much in the UK, so I love learning about it with you on your channel :) It's so important to learn from people who live their life in different ways. Jewish head coverings are so pretty and it's clear you have a lot of experience with styling them to make them look so beautiful!

Thank you to your beautiful model! I am a Noachide woman and I have been covering my hair with scarves for 8 years in the Appalachian Highlands area of the American South. I absolutely love it! I do own a wig, but like you, I hate it! I used to wear it to interviews, but where I work now I am so recognized by my scarf. No one would know me if I wore a wig. 🙂 Highly recommend Wrapunzel. I've been ordering from them for years. Very reasonable prices and super fast shipping! I have a couple pieces of advice for women who would like to use scarves to cover their hair. 1. Be careful with florals and small prints. In my opinion, they can look like a shower cap. 2. Also be careful with black and gray. Color at your face is usually better.

I've accumulated quite a collection of scarves and watched lots of youtube videos in the past few months. I'm now looking for ideas of what to wear for the upcoming High Holidays. Thanks to both you and your daughter for sharing.

As a Catholic convert , we cover our heads to pray! Most wear veils however some of us younger women like the scarves. I particularly prefer to already be covered when I leave home and simply remain that way throughout the day as a reminder to move prayerfully throughout my whole day!! Thank you so very much for the help! You are a beautiful woman & present such a soft soul! May God richly bless you!! Much love and many prayers!
