So all Celestite isn’t blue? How do you identify it? I have some that I didn’t find, and I know the crystal shape is different from quartz, but how else do you tell? Great video. Idaho will be awesome, too!

Good question. The high density is one of the easiest ways to identify, but when it is to small to feel that weight difference then you do have to look at the crystal structure. Identifying a mineral by the crystal structure takes time to learn and sometimes even that isn't enough. Fortunately, people have been here before me and already identified most of the minerals.
