Nice! Looks like you have some good units in your collection. I have at least 20 extinguishers in total but I’m sure I’ll be getting more soon.

Ive got a 1969 General water pump tank. Brass and copper. Fun for fire pits and watering plants from 30ft away.

noticed that foam and wet chemical are silver and ABC are red, yet the extinguishers for naval/coast guard use are inverted, like your foam extinguisher and the Amerex C260CG. Also I saw an Amerex K class in a common hallway today, not sure why it was there, but def interesting.

Finally, someone agrees with me on those old Ansuls being some of THE BEST extinguishers ever made. They are tanks. Also... Did you say that plastic kidde was a halon 1211???

It concerns me how many of those plastic kiddes you have around.. they were recalled for a reason.. ESPECIALLY the 10LBs... But what i cant get over is that you didnt even mention the old 70s baby blue kidde.. finding one of those in great condition is what made me realize i should start collecting the oddities i come across, and yours looks to be even cleaner than mine!

The extinguishers blowing up is not a concern. I have no ten pound kiddes that are pressurized and even then those particular models are not the models recalled for exploding. The only models that had issues with that are the 10 pound models with welded neck, all other models had various other issues with failure to discharge. And yes, the kidde is cool. I found that at a scrap metal pit

Can you test a pan oil fire vs the c02 extinguisher? Like a inch of oil or so in a pan and see if it works?

Where do you get all your fire extinguishers? I get most of mine either from houses from Family and friends or from a local fire extinguisher inspection company.
