People are realizing Harbor Freight is a different animal than it was a few years ago. Sure, they still have some less than desirable products but for the DIYer and the pro, the Bauer and Hercules lines respectively are fantastic tools at very reasonable prices.

I wouldn’t get too confidence on that tho, try it on John Deere 300G excavator with rusted for while plus dirts and rock. Just get 1” impact wench, if that don’t work then you need something to heat that bolt and or nut up until it’s glow red. I don’t recommend used 1/2 or even 3/4 impact wench. Learned my lesson..

I like the case! The tool might last about six weeks, if not used. However, at least it is not going to kill if it fails. And yes, I like that color blue. No torque wrench to test the tool? If it can do 950 ft-lbs at 10 sec and 1100 ft-lbs at 30 seconds, I'm guessing you are torquing way over the required 475 t lbs. So when the guy uses the torque wrench and the nuts DO NOT move, you could be over torqued up to probably 950 ft-lbs. If so, just imagine trying to get those off with just a normal air ratchet in the future or if on the side of a road with a tire truck a large hand wrench. This might have been one of the worse tests of a tool I have ever seen. I would trust torque test channel long before this joke of a torque test for a tool. And come back after using it for six weeks and I mean use it and tell us how it held up.
@TheJayHamish

I really appreciate your feedback. I agree, I am nowhere close to TTC, nor am I trying to be. Rest assured, the company shop mechanics go through and re-torque everything to spec before it rolls out. They have the right tools to handle it. The six weeks timeline, I hope it lasts longer than that but only time will tell. I’ll use it as often as I can and report back with the good or bad that develops. Maybe one day I can afford a big torque wrench to double check what I’m putting down, but not at this time. In the end though, it did what I needed it to do and I was satisfied with the purchase. Again, thank you for your honest feedback. Until next time. Take care

I bought one a couple months ago....... $82 because it was in the returned items area. Im guessing someone thought it was 1/2 inch and didnt think about getting an adapter. No scuffs anywhere on it. I doubt a socket was ever installed on it. Still in the plastic pouch and the correct packing . Crap, now I have to buy a Freightliner or a Cat. 😁 O had recenly bought the smaller 1/2" impact, so this is complete overkill for me........ But $82 and atill has the 5 year warranty. ......i had to, just had to. Next sale will be an 8 ah battery.

The last five years or so they've really leveled up their game for most of their power tools, and for that matter, hand tools. The Quinn and Icon lines are excellent hand tools for their price, and frankly, as good as the truck tools IMO. The Herc and Baur lines are leading the way for power tools.

It’s 250 plus 350 plus the charger plus the case for Milwaukee buying like he did the Hercules. Si without case and charger we are already at $600. So minimum $700, I’d imagine a charger is 50-100 and a case is 50-150 Milwaukee
