Well, I did it! That was the most insane experience, which I'm so happy to have done! There is nothing, and I mean NOTHING like the rush of the Earth coming at you at 120mph. Especially the sight of your own house, to bring just how insignificant we are in this great big blue and green ball we live on. Honestly, the free-fall was easy. It was very easy to forget where you are or what you are supposed to be doing. When that chute plumed, that was actually the most difficult for me. I could feel myself wanting to black out, but I kept fighting it. We spun to the left, we spun to the right and that was so awesome. But the harness was cutting off blood flow, and I really started to tingle. I took deep breaths, and got in a sitting position which allowed me to stave off the darkness...that is until the final 200 feet. I remember dreaming, but can't remember what it was exactly. The next thing I know, I'm sitting on the ground with a wicked (pale) smile on my face! Note to self...eat a big meal before doing it again! I hadn't eaten since about 10am. Anywho, I cannot wait to do this again!!!
