False. Soul music was created by blacks and other genres. Whites have studied many black artists and replicated it. Why do you think soul categories are mostly black and pop is mostly white? Stop trying to "all lives matter" black music. And he's right, until you see them, you'd think they're black cause that is our type of music. Don't lecture him. 😒

Nah, that was their original drummer Robbie McIntosh who OD'd at one of those infamous "Hollywood" parties. Huge loss for the band at the time, matter of fact had Steve Ferrone not fallen into their laps the way he did soon thereafter I'm pretty sure they would've gone their separate ways for good. The one on guitar/vocals is Hamish Stuart and he's still with us today, though he left the band in the early-80s to write for other established artists like Chaka Khan for instance. :-)

Yes, this song was a banger back in the day. The actual LP that's what they use to call it you know the plastic was definitely a better version of the song to listen to. I'm not that crazy about the live performances because sometimes they have to change the song a little bit. I did not hear the screams that I was use to hearing when I listened to this song back in the day.
