My first tournament run with Rashid! I will be going all Kim at EVO (Leave for EVO tonight!), but wanted to learn Rashid for the MU knowledge. When I get back from EVO I might learn him some more, potentially dual maining Rashid w/ Kim. Rashid Guide drops tomorrow (hopefully)

I feel as though instead of jumping in, Rashid is supposed to go for the mix air dash or HP cyclone into roll then jab on the plus frame if they block the Cyclone. One thing I never see anyone do, is during the air dash, you can do the double jump
@themaynetitan
Жыл бұрын
Not at my system so I can’t confirm but I’m pretty sure you can just jab out of that, unless you can really just scare your opponent and make them freeze up 😂
@revengex6210
Жыл бұрын
cyclone is plus but they can jab before the roll if they expect it same with the air dash unless if you catch them off guard
@user-ti5rb1mx5x
Жыл бұрын
@revengex6210 they cant jab in between the HP cyclone and roll if they block the HP cyclone. HP cyclone into roll is +1 on block so it's still your turn to go into standing jab pressure. You have to condition them with the roll into sLP to stop them from jabbing the air dash. If you think they are going to jab the air dash and you still did it anyways, I think you can beat cLP with the HK air follow up and if they do sLP, you can do OD double jump during air dash and beat sLP. It's all so inconsistent and convoluted for what seems like minimum advantage.
@user-ti5rb1mx5x
Жыл бұрын
@themaynetitan5285 if they block HP cyclone, you are +1 after roll. It's only HP cyclone though. The trick is to get them to block the HP cyclone because you can't do it in a block string even on the plus frames you get from DR sMP or cMP. They can jab between the normal and the start up of HP cyclone, but once they block the HP cyclone, your empty roll makes you plus right in their face.
@revengex6210
Жыл бұрын
@@user-ti5rb1mx5x you’re correct on that but only if you do hp cyclone by itself but if you were to do standing hp into hp cyclone they can jab for a trade on that also

ppl in chat saying league of legends is more complex than fighting games...? maybe if ur a pro player, but the point was that fg have much higher barrier to entry. me and my friends are low emerald (give or take) in the current league split, which is in the top 14% of players, none of us have ever put any effort into learning the game, we're usually chatting casually while we play, very little focus, and just overall not thinking very much. There is no way you could ever get to the top 14% of players on a fighting game by just playing it casually with friends and turning your brain off, and never putting in any effort to learn any of the concepts behind it. In league you can reach that point by farming minions well, getting kills in lane by mashing ur buttons on zed, and putting some wards down whenever you remember you haven't done it in a while lmao. It may be a very complex game at a high level, but if you can get this far without knowing ANY of it, then all the complexity is weighted towards high-end optimisations, and the game, for the vast majority of players, is not very complex. In contrast to fighting games, where the complexities are necessary to understand early on to even have a chance at improving.

As huge of a fan I am of Diaphone it makes me glad to see that even in the hands of an amazing player Rashid can still lose. He’s rubbed me the wrong way since he came out there’s just something about the way he plays that bothers me it feels super excessive like a lot of people say feels like he should be in an anime fighter not street fighter. So just knowing he’s not invincible and can lose is very nice

A lot of people are putting him mid tier / lower mid tier lately. IDK where he is personally, but definitely doesn't feel Top 5, too many problems in neutral.
