I loved hearing your fitness journey! I too lost a lot of weight and have become very, very dedicated to fitness now. I'm almost 43 and the loose skin is pretty much the most important determiner of what activewear I like to wear, so having women with similar concerns reviewing activewear is a godsend!! I consider myself very lucky in that it's not much in my case, but it's noticeable on my thighs so even 6" shorts are simply not going to work for me. I wish biker shorts would come back into style lol. You have done amazing!! Muscle building is a slow process but we can get there. I am trying to build muscle in my upper body (I had frozen shoulder for like two years so on top of losing weight overall I also lost a lot of muscle in my shoulder) and it is slowwwww but I'm getting there. Anyway it was really fun hearing about your journey!!

Thank you! I agree muscle building is a very slow process. I am continuing to do it the most I can. I'm glad im able to be relevant with some reviews for folks that just don't look like Barbie. Btw, I think we need more biker shorts back too! 😔👍🏼

Did you do any ab workouts when you were doing Zumba?

Not really, i didn’t go to the gym back then although i do go now. I have never really targeted my abs. I like to work upper body and lower body. I still do zumba and the workouts help a lot.

it’s just weightloss. at that time i did nothing but zumba because i was hooked to the choreography of the dances. that and eating right with some portion control as i mentioned in this video helped me achieve the “flat abs”. it’s difficult to begin but not impossible to achieve.
