Just be carefull when on a dirt road, the oil filter is behind the passenger tire, real vulnerable spot. Seen oil dripping under the truck in the shop, needless to say ,a stone was tossed up and nicked the oil filter and put a nice hole in it. Needless to say, changed the filter, topped up the oil and been fine since. Freak accident maybe.

@Dry Creek Cattle Co. Like John Cameron Swayze said in his Timex Ads, it just "keeps on ticking" due to a rock solid design and regular maintenance. If you like simple, reliable performance, there are few better on the market. A million miles on an original 7.3 Liter Super Duty engine is nothing particularly note worthy. There are few engines on the market today that have that kind of record. It takes at least two opinions to make a horse race which means the buyer puts his money on his choice and takes his chances. I have to admit to smiling when I saw it was a Ford. I spent my entire working life at Ford UK's Research & Engineering Centre (Later renamed Product Development). We heard that Ford US actually lost money on its car sales, but that Truck sales more than made up for it. I can't resist a wee story... We used to get up to 20% discount on new cars, which meant you could always have a new car and barely be out of pocket, so everyone made use of the discount. It meant that at the end of a shift you'd walk out to the car park and see an ocean of Ford vehicles in this years colour, and it was a nightmare trying to locate your own car.

@@97marqedman Not every app caches and transmits location data. Many apps allow you to opt out of location sharing, while some do not. Auto manufacturers have gotten very sneaky with their invasive vehicle apps and unless you read and understand what you are opting in for you are allowing them full access to your location, speed, driving habits, maintenance, etc. Even data like is the A/C on, are the windows up or down, are your headlights or wipers on, tire pressure, is the radio on, what volume is it playing at, what are your music tastes, etc etc. are shared It's not about paranoia. FYI. All key fobs are always searching to mate up with their counter part. 24/7 around the clock, non stop. Thieves have found a way to search for these signals simply by driving through the neighborhood. Once they find a key fob signal, they copy it and simply attach that signal to a blank key fob. Within 20-30 minutes, they simply use their blank key fob with the stolen signal and they simply drive away. The only way to combat against this type of theft is to encase your key fobs in an anti-theft pouch.

I look at it like this his channel is about his work life and what and how he does his job. It's not a friends and family video, to be honest he really don't have anyone else but him once in a great while you'll see some friends that are in the business but again that's work related. Now that is said, let me say this what every gender he is interested in shouldn't have a bearing on if you like the channel or not. He does not shove his boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, husband,or lover in your face so why does people get hung up on what he does and prefers. I think that no matter what he puts out awesome content and has always done so. Me personally I'm straight but if a person has their preference and they don't shove it down your throat then why make a big deal about it. I feel like this if it makes you happy, the everyone else doesn't need to worry about it. It's none of their business. American pickup trucks are fantastic but wouldn’t suit us in Ireland, diesel per gallon at the minute is around $8 !!

Tell us more about your dog's condition. I bought a 2004 F-150 new, still have it but the frame really rusted up due to the northeast road salt.

Being successful is a beautiful thing. That Sunday truck will cost you $5,000 or more in depreciation on a yearly basis. It does look awesome.

I think Chris has only had 2 other pickups (Least hes shown on YT) so hes not the type of guy to replace every few years unless forced to. If your goal is to keep a motor 10 plus years then new is probably the best way to do it as its looked after from day 1.

@@HughzieTube It all depends on the size of your operation and the skill of your tax accountant. Many businesses have a gazillion opportunities to leverage the tax code. I once knew a guy who changed machinery well within 10 years. He felt the tax benefits were way too attractive to pass up on.

I remember in one of Andrew Camarattas videos he said some people go out and spend nearly a 100k on on a nice new truck, and he takes that same money and gets a beater truck, a mini excavator, a skid steer, and a dump truck - fixes them all himself and puts them to work right away.

@@LawnPusher I mean his time is pretty valuable. Whenever people talk about fixing up things "for free" it isn't true. He could bill out for probably 100 bucks an hour or much more here in Canada for a lot of the work he does. Spending dozens of hours getting something working along with the parts you need doesn't always make sense. That said, I love his channel, awesome to see someone so versatile in their skills.

Cameratta is a joke. He shows more videos of repairing things, then actual excavation. And when he does do something, its not done the correct way..or even safely. I mean, who installs a septic system without first getting the local town to do a perk test on the soil? Any person in the excavation trade has more or less given up trying to help him because he cant take criticism. His channel is for John Q. Homeowners that don't know anything about the trade, but see him complete jobs with dirt cheap equipment he found on Facebook marketplace. In reality, you cannot buy the bargain basement equipment and expect to make any sort of money on it in the long haul. This channel is the complete polar opposite. It is pure, uncut professionalism.

Love both of those trucks. I run a 2014 for my personal truck on 37s. Slowly changing stuff out to what I want also. But both are good looking trucks.

I put on full length electric steps on a Dodge Ram what a difference it makes, no more ankle breakers from the bar steps, plus they hide up under the truck and really gives it a high profile look and they are adjustable for height. That is a nice looking truck you got by the way. Hide the KEY control and get one of those voice control security systems that will record what you want to say anytime if someone touches your vehicle, like stand back or your not driving my truck, you can record anything you want and use it for security on a vehicle, it is a really cool security system, check it out if you ever get the time !
