@nanexists Yesss. I think there's a distinction that needs to be made in regards to remnant tho. There's two types of it: The paranormal 2015 Remnant (basically just an explanation that in FNAF, souls are comprised out of memories and emotions) aka the Cool Remnant, and then there's the sci-fi 2017 Remnant (a tangible magical soul juice that does NOT need to fucking exist) aka the Yucky Cringe Remnant. @@gamesuarxI’m kinda confused on what you mean. I thought the so called “2015 Remnant” was the general consensus on how it worked. Frights uses that explanation with memories being entangled with it so I don’t understand what you mean. According to what you said, at least to me, both versions of Remnant have been both, somewhat sci fi while being supernatural in nature. The memory Remnant also came out way after the sci fi Remnant was introduced. I might be completely stupid but your comment confused me
@gamesuarx
23 сағат бұрын
@@TripleThreat145 I call it the 2015 Remnant because while not being explicitly named, it was clearly a concept Scott already had in mind at the time of writing The Silver Eyes, in 2015, as there is a scene in the book where the cast discuss what is essentially Remnant: they talk about how memories linger in places and affect them, and even if the person to whom these memories had belonged to is already dead, these memories linger and "haunt" the place this person was often in. It's a genuinely incredible scene because it introduces Remnant as a mysterious and subtle, abstract idea suggested in a somewhat philosophical conversation that people could be having irl. It's grounded, it's mysterious, and for some, it's believable. Then, in 2017, Remnant was first named and described in the blueprints in PizzaSim, and The Fourth Closet then elaborated on it and introduced us to the sci-fi/magical "glowing molten metal substance" that Afton jokingly refers to as pixie dust after giving Jessica his cringe "evil alchemist-scientist" speech. So yes, tangible Remnant is both supernatural and sci-fi in nature, but the original "draft" of Remnant was a much more subtle and grounded concept that essentially just served to give FNAF's possession its own unique identity and rules, by connecting it to memories and emotions

Okay another LONG yapping session ahead. So about the FNAF 1-Follow Me-Sister Location date stuff: We DO actually have a coherent idea about all this now. 1. The MCI Freddy's and FNAF 1 Freddy's are 100% the same location. FNAF 1 Freddy's has a springlock safe room (which it wouldn't have, had it been a new 90s building, cuz springlock suits were long scrapped by then) and post-FNAF 2 FazEnt is too broke to build a new location. Also, Henry basically confirms all this in the FNAF 6 Insanity Ending. 2. The MCI/Classic Animatronics are taken apart by Purple Guy a few years after FNAF 1 (could bs a year, could be a decade). He takes their haunted endoskeletons out of the suits and (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT) melts them down in his basement furnace to get liquid Remnant that he then puts into the Funtimes! Basically, it means that after Gabriel & the gang got Purple Guy springlocked, they found themselves in a new prison- the Funtimes. 3. That said, it by default means Sister Location happens after FNAF 1. I know the whole "odor" thing with Mike seems like a connection, but the odor thing was just a joke Scott came up with way before Sister Location was a thing. The Week Before also confirms two things: -the Classics wants to escape Freddy's just like the Funtimes want to escape Purple Guy's basement. -Bonnie, Chica and Foxy all really fear Freddy, and they try to avoid crossing him at all costs. He seems to have firm authority over them. Just like Funtime Freddy, who kicks Baby out of Ennard and asserts himself as the sole leader.

@@gamesuarx I love this and I’m here for it, just a one note: fnaf 3 tapes say that they boarded up the safe room (where William would’ve been spring locked and twitching), and phone guy recorded those tapes which means he had to be alive. That means William had to have melted down the og animatronics, turn them into the funtimes, and been spring locked BEFORE fnaf 1. That makes me kinda think the reason the withereds are so torn up is because willaim took pieces of them at the MCI location and fused them with the funtimes instead of using the whole animatronic?? It’s so confusing
@gamesuarx
Күн бұрын
@@nanexists This stuff is definitely confusing, but there is a good explanation for it. That tape was recorded way before- it was from the line of training tapes Phone Guy recorded for the staff at Fredbear's & Freddy's in the late 70's or early 80's, back when he still held that manager-type position at the company and did not have to work the night shift yet. You can actually tell when audio is recorded by Phone Guy based on his voice- props to Scotf for being a weirdly amazing voice actor- as 80's era instructor Phone Guy has a friendly, relaxed tone, 1987 manager Phone Guy has a more shady, but ambitious and energetic tone, and 199X night guard Phone Guy has a more stressed out and grim tone. But anyway, the actual reasoning for this: they originally sealed off the saferooms when the springlock suits were scrapped. These suits and rooms were not to be mentioned to anyone, and they might be the reason why Henry & Bill were the primary MCI suspects: only the owner and his partner would have easy access to a sealed off room. A decade later, when Purple Guy died, the saferoom was sealed off yet again. They do have a tendency of getting uncovered tho, as the Fazbear's Fright crew opened it up again and released Springtrap
@nanexists
Күн бұрын
@@gamesuarx I see where your coming from, but tbh that just makes me think william was locked away in the 80s, maybe right after 1987ish :p here me out: Pre-1987: William takes apart animatronics to experiment with possession (ie putting remnant in funtimes), he releases the spirits (or part of them or whatever bc funtimes still around) without noticing, withereds are scrapped even further and used to bump up the toy animatronics Post-1987 but pre-1992: William goes back to mess with the animatronics more, gets jumpscared by 6 ghost children, spring locked. Phone guy, not night shift yet, makes the memo that fazbear ent is gonna board up the rooms. Williams locked away until 2015/2017/whenever when fazbear frights knocks down the walls at the fnaf 1/MCI building and then they grab him. Anyway, both valid explanations imo
@nanexists
Күн бұрын
@@gamesuarx oh also, phone guy couldn’t have recorded stuff for Fredbear’s family diner because he barely knew the place existed in the fnaf 2 phone calls (he goes, “we’re gonna contact the original owner of… uh I think it was called Fredbears Family Diner?” Or something similar) WHICH BEGS THE QUESTION DID THE BITE OF 83 HAPPEN AT FREDBEARS BECAUSE IN THE WEEK BEFORE HE MENTIONS WORKING WITH FREDDYS FOR TEN YEARS AND ITS 1992 WHICH MEANS HE WOULDVE BEEN AROUND DURING THE BITE OF 83 unless Freddy fazbears pizza was open at the SAME TIME as fredbears which is also super possible and now that I’m thinking about it probably, and phone guy just worked at Freddy’s BUT YOU THINK HED KNOW MORE CONCRETELY ABOUT THE PLACE WHERE A KID GOT HIS HEAD BITTEN INTO IF HE DID GET BIT AT FREDBEARS honestly this is just convincing me to make a video about determining the exact time line, or multiple theories about the timeline
@gamesuarx
Күн бұрын
@@nanexists That is a really fresh take on that, damn. I do still believe he took them apart post-FNAF 1, as there are some more reasons for that too, but yours is still a really good idea that I haven't really considered! The reasons I disagree tho are that 1) we know that the Classics weren't just broken by him (like Bonnie losing his face, Chica having her jaw broken etc.), they were straight up hollowed out. As in, the crew that searched the building afterwards found nothing but their empty shells- Purple Guy stole their whole endos. And ppl recently found more proof in Help Wanted: the Ennard Vent Repair level shows Afton's furnace, inside of which there are four Endo-01s fused/melted together. 2) Freddy's in FollowMe is way fucked. Like, we know it shut down by the end of whatever year FNAF 1 takes place in, and was abandoned until Jeff bought it decades later. And in FollowMe the building is shown in just that state- it's FNAF 1 Freddy's, except even more delapidated and rundown. It IS possible that they actually fixed the building up for its reopening after FNAF 2 Freddy's shut down, but I do think it's weird that Scott would go out of his way to make it look like a "long-abadoned, even more decrepit FNAF 1 Freddy's" if it's actually the state of the building *before* FNAF 1.

I wrote a comment about Mustard man not being William. Posted it. Unpaused the video. "I don't care what five laps at freddy's says" I bust out laughing so hard, and am now a Ride-or-Die Nan fan.

Don't know if this has been brought up but me and my partner had an idea- maybe in fnaf 4 you are playing as Dave but pre-bite. As you said there is no nightmare Bonnie and maybe that is because Dave doesn't fear Bonnie because Bonnie is associated positively with his dad. He sees no reason to fear him.
@nanexists
Күн бұрын
@@loxxikirovski6738 that might’ve been the original intention? The reason it’s probably possibly (but also probably possibly could NOT be) Michael is because Michael draws the nightmare animatronics in the security log book, and he would have no way to know what those look like unless he dreamed them. UNLESS David SHOWED THEM to MICHAEL in a APPARTION DREAM (starts pinning red string to things), I like this Spring Bonnie angle ur bring up tho
@loxxikirovski6738
Күн бұрын
@@nanexists that's the biggest problem- ideas just seem to change when convenient and it is really hard to keep up 😮💨 and yeah I agree I have no idea how Michael would know about them other than having some sort of spiritual contact with Dave or dreams. Not sure off the top of my head if that is a concept in fnaf that has been confirmed to be possible though. I tend to just jump back into the lore every so often to check for any progress 😅

i LOVE this video. most of the things I think, you think, and it was presented so fun-ly! i loved it, added it to my favorite theories folder, and subcribed. i haven't even checked if you have other fnaf content. i don't even care! i loved this, i will loyally subscribe no matter what, that shirt cemented it for me. it's like, at this point, i don't need expectations, there is this video, and it exists! if you only posted time lapses of paint drying ever again ,it would be with it for this video, and i'd watch them too. i did the math and i've watched like 40 hours of fnaf youtube videos in september so far. (i'm enjoying life while being 19 and unemployed.) anything with a red string conspiracy board has me hooked immediately. no matter how much fnaf content i consume, (totally healthy amounts) i still fall off the wagon every time the steel wool games come up. i think my brain has a password lock to unlock the understanding of it, and i wasn't there when the password was created. idk tho. like, somehow the mimic makes complete sense to me by himself, but then i remember he has to fit into the games and i feel like i've driven off a cliff.

56:44 isn’t The Blob made out of parts of the FNaF AR characters? Because that was a cannon rental service with characters such as all of those accept for puppet. And it would also fix that retcon nice and neat.

Security logbook, same way we got Evan except instead of changing the way we found the last letter we did the same thing which gave us Evad. The book talks about reflecting on your life, so reflect the letters back to get Dave. Hyper Droid wasn’t the first to figure it out but he has an excellent video on it that got the word out

59:51 the like ruin thing is probably supposed to be a combo thing of uhhh the pizzaplex falling into the pizza sim pizzeria after gregory and glamrock freddy are escaping the pizzaplex (burntrap ending) with the "canon" ending (headless freddy + gregory + vanessa redemption arc); the animatronics are also mostly in the same state of decay as when gregory beat the crap out of them, except i don't know how to explain eclipse 😭😭
