I just accidentally stumbled on this video and I have to say that you did a great job. This video encapsulates my feelings about this conflict and the people involved. Life is fucking complicated. Somebody can seem like a gun nut, but he also can be a good friend and a thoughtful person. Im Greek, 20 years ago, when I was 24, from a strange stroke of fate I found myself in a serious relation with a girl from a town of Lugansk. For 2 years I was going back and forth there staying for long periods, and made myself the local exotic curiosity lol. Im still in touch with my ex, especially after the start of the war, getting news of our friends there. For our ''western media'' these people do not exist. 3 days ago a building 200m down the road of my ex's house got bombed by a HIMARS. 3 floors damaged and probably more than 20 people dead. I say probably because many were dismembered. Not a military target in the area, just residents. But still these people dont count and they are referred to as crazy Russian nationalists, on Putin's payroll, ''separatist terrorists'', all of them. All Putin's agents under mind control hating our ''western values''. Funny because I clearly remember most of them being metalheads, into fantasy/scifi literature, watching Hollywood movies, following to the best of their ability the fashionable trends, wanting the same things any young person wants everywhere. There was not one ounce of nationalism in them and in fact when i was asking them if they are Russians (everybody spoke Russian everywhere) I was always corrected by saying ''we are Russian speaking Ukrainians''. Many of them were extremely apolitical, thinking that anyway everyone is a thief so there is no reason to even go and vote. Actually my ex was making fun of me being political back then. Now if you call them Ukrainians, they will break your head and they are all VERY political. No reporter ever got in the trouble to ask ''what happened?'' and ''why''. What turned them against their former state. Is Russia paying so well that average people, with families are willing to endure being bombarded, sniped and constantly on the brink of personal tragedy for the last 8 years? How many silver coins (according to the Ukrainian state) are enough for a family to stay in such an environment ''for the love of Putin''? Are they really Orcs and robots without feelings as they are presented? Or is there much more to the story?

Your Absolutely Right! It is said that history repeats itself, & I fear this holds true now more than ever, with bellicose & belligerent behaviour being thumped around at centres of power in Washington, London & Brussels. As an avid student of history, the situation looks almost similar to pre WWI manoeuvrings that ended in disastrous consequences for all combating nations, with 3 empires being totally destroyed! I really don't see how a return to normalcy can be achieved, let alone undertaken when large multitudes in the West are still glued religiously to the toxic babble spewing uncontrollably from the Main Stream Media. One would think that, in this day & age of instant detailed information with multiple views at one's fingertips, being ignorant shouldn't be an option, right?.......but apparently many instead have gladly succumb to such sheer stupidity at the hand of that very mode of information dissemination. Go Figure!

I have one pen pal from Kyiv and she said that she hates the war raged by the Russian but also she want the war to be stopped as soon as possible because they cannot go to school and many of them also have friends or even family in Russia itself. Also her boyfriend is on the frontline, on territorial defense brigade, hope he is back soon after the war ends.

The American people like me have never picked sides like the media and the president make it seem as if Americans have chosen sides with Ukraine is simply not true. Remember the country you fight for isn’t the name you call it but the people you are with. Remember we all have people that care for us and so does your enemy. Maybe it’s time we all stop listening to the men in suits who don’t ever get effected from the wars they create and help our world be a better place by listening to real people who deserve better. Peace to all

A truly fascinating vid! I'd be interested where they get that gear. An interesting mish mash of gear they have too. As they are not mil, but every day dudes, are guns easily available there?

These are replicas, not real firearms, and they use blanks for training. That’s easy to get, but only if you’re ready to cash out 😁

Kaliningrad was always a target, long before the war in Ukraine. Just being the HQ of the Baltic fleet makes it a target.

The gun law in US does not come even close to what they are allowed in Russia. Like comparing freedom of speech in both countries.

@@ddff3618 I don't see freedom of speech in Russia, I don't see freedom of speech in the US. In the first case, it is forbidden to say anything about the war in Ukraine; in the second case, I cannot call a person a woman if he considers himself a man. Although it would seem that the United States is a “free country”, who can forbid me to speak as I see fit? And all because the United States has essentially become a leftist country. Until recently, Trump, one of the strongest oppositionists in America, was tried, as Navalny was once tried in our country. It's just that they haven't been able to jail Trump yet. I do not see freedom of speech in France either, where Macron recently carried out his reform bypassing the French parliament. And the police in Paris beat people even harder than the police did in Moscow during the so-called “Swamp Revolution” of 2012. I’m not talking about the fact that in Australia, during the 2020 lockdown due to the coronavirus, the police fired at the protesters from machine guns with rubber bullets. Here, in Russia, even under Putin's autocracy, people have never been fired at from machine guns with rubber bullets in all this time. Where is the freedom of speech that you have been proud of for the last decades?

It could be captured from Ukraine, but most likely it is a airsoft gun.
