The Pathfinder and Odyssey are sick. Beautiful designs 😍 Still not 100% sold on the Neo-con for the Ent-G. It's growing on me, but didn't blow me away liek the E and F

Seriously, this is the most helpful video I’ve found if you’re thinking about getting a 3d printed STO ship. Quality showcased, issues explained, shop commended on communication, sizes compared, no time wasted on glory shots. Great review, *thank you,* you’ve convinced me to make the leap.

Thanks for this... I've been on the fence about these forever. I have a ton of lockbox ships and would just LOVE to have a collection of them as models to display. However, I just can't get over the pricing... $20 for the 4 inch is a decent price, but geez, by 7" they are $75 or more, but printed on the same machine? I just don't understand why the price hikes up so exponentially based on the size. If the 12" were $100 instead of $350, that would be more reasonable, in fact I might lose my mind and buy ten of them. Instead, I'm going to end up buying none of them. Maybe there will be a coupon someday.

The amount of resin used as the print sizes go up increases exponentially, a 7” print uses significantly more material than a 4” one, and resin isn’t cheap.

My favourite Odyssey Variants are the YorkTown Class and the Lexington Class, I would name one of YorkTown Classes the USS Constantinople.

Odyssey Variants I thought of USS Constantinople Odyssey Variant with Sovereign Class warp nacelles. HLSS Gawr Gura NCHL 10620 given shark like fins on its warp nacelles with bassard collectors looking like a sharks open mouth, shark mouth painted on both necks attached to stardrive, two mini fins on stardrives dorsal section as far as I can describe it so far. USS Starlet painted purple.

I'm wanting to get my pathfinder printed but the quote for the 12 inch collectable was $800 and that's too pricey for me. So I'm thinking about just doing a 9 inch full color for under $200. I wanted to ask you if you knew if that 9 inch pathfinder they sent you was full color or collectable.

They're not painted. They are printed in color. A higher resolution printer would fix that issue, but they would have to completely replace their equipment. Powder bed fusion 3D printers cost between 200 and 500 THOUSAND dollars, so I don't think that's happening anytime soon.

@draggerlane04090 Yes, from before they did color printing. It's not even an option anymore. I apologize for the misunderstanding. I didn't know that you were only talking about that one specific ship.
