i have a 2t motorcycle. i try to standby it with more 2t oil, it still goes bad. the settings still clog up. now I will observe the ATF oil now. but I think it is the perfect receipt for it to not destroy the carbs.

Thanks for updating your previous video on this subject! Great technique I will start using on snowblowers and generators. One comment I do have about your production values - you might consider adjusting your volume levels to make them all the same, but louder than the last segment in this video. It’s kind of a pain having to constantly adjust the volume as you switch from one segment to the next and then fill in with some music which is much louder. Other than that, great job!

I like fuel filters that are clear so you can see if there is a bunch of junk in there. No reason any small engine should not have one. Also keep a spare around, because when you need the genset, you don't want the filter plugging up

I just installed a fuel filter like you suggested. Thanks. Also, I couldn't find a transmission bottle with the special top on it so I used a 5 cc/5 ml little syringe to squirt the trans fluid into the carburetor.

nice. as long as you get some in the fuel bowl it will be fine. good idea using a syringe.

I plan on putting a three way valve on the fuel line with a filter. That way I can drain off the old gas.

When you need to put a fuel filter or remove a hose that is stuck use some w d40 or something to lubricate the hose it will loosen it up and u can get by with the old hard hoses for testing purposes great videos

I have learned I can acquire more practical knowledge from a backyard mechanic than from a tech grad. Those little tips are from experience, not from a classroom. All I run is Non-Ethanol fuel in everything. I have bring it in 55gal drums to fill my tank but the headache is worth it. Just a suggestion: I would have sprayed a B.G. or sea foam product in the carb intake before I tightened the new fuel line and added a heavy dose to the fuel before I tried to start it. It has paid off for me. Looking forward to another video from you sir!

if I knew for sure I was going to use it in the next 2-3 months I wouldn't worry about it. but usually you never know when you are going to need your generator. I might need mine next week, or it may not need it until 5 years from now.
