This is my story! Except for a few differences, this is how I was raised. Including the fact my sister got her ‘dream wedding’ & I had to settle for a make shift, whatever they could throw together type of ceremony. The differences’ are: I’m the oldest. My sister is five years younger than I. I got married first, but it wasn’t the wedding I hoped for bc my parents didn’t spend any money to help out. My whole life growing up was miserable. My dad believed in corporal punishment…but just for me. The weight issues were the same as in the story. I looked like Twiggy & actually did some modeling. I also tried to be a good student &, in general, a genuine good & helpful person. I was active in various activities at school while maintaining good grades. I can’t believe how this story is so much like my story!!😢

The way I see it yes she didn't exactly get even with her family for an entire lifetime of trauma and torture but its still satisfying to finally be able to deliver just the one big blow after all this time and get away with it. Its nothing compared to living in constant torture but considering how narcissistic her family was, that humiliation they faced among friends and family is gonna hurt for the rest of their lives, not to mention that it will be the last memory they will have in connection to their younger daughter. I know people like these and you'd only lose your sanity trying to win against such people. Its better that she just gave them a taste of their own medicine and walked off into the sunrise towards her peace of mind. Personally, i'd have had told the security guard to involve police if the sister tries to get in by force, and have the security guard record her sister getting dragged out crying and screaming.

Small victories. Is it everything they deserve, no. But for now it's enough. You gotta be pragmatic about stuff like that. And having their reputation destroyed and their masks forcefully removed is one of those "beginning of the end" type deals. They spent a lot of money to try and pull that scheme. A wedding with the best of everything and two wedding dresses isn't cheap in any capacity so their finances will be shot for awhile. There'll be no help from the family because of this. And them freaking out at their kids wedding and telling on themselves about how they tried to destroy everything is gonna get out to a wider audience. Can you say social su!c!de? Imagine a boss learning you were so untrustworthy that you'd backstab your own kid like that. People will look up the sister on social media at any job she applies for and they'll see that overgrown child having a tantrum in a wedding dress at someone else's wedding because she couldn't be the center of attention 😂. The sisters never gonna be able to live that down or find a partner and friends because everyone knows how much of a monster she is to try and completely steal her sisters wedding. And with no one wanting anything to do with the family they'll eventually just be stuck with nothing and no one but their awful selves. And they don't have the OP as a lightning rod anymore so they'll be forced to confront what awful people they are. And all while they stew over the fact that the OP won and is living a happy life since the thing they wanted most was to hurt the OP. Her just living her best life really is the perfect revenge for her.
