A simple, tasty and healthy Greek salad - Garidosalat (salad with shrimps and potatoes) that I tried at my friend's home in Greece! Be sure to recreate it and imagine yourself enjoying it on the coast of the beautiful island of Crete while feeling the sea breeze!
Recipe:
shrimp
potatoes
spring onions
Parsley
Marinated cucumbers
For the dressing:
Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
Juice of half a lemon
Salt
pepper
Peel the shrimp and cook in lightly salted water with spices.
Drain the water and let the shrimp cool.
Clean the potatoes with a brush, cut in the middle, cook until cooked, drain the water and let the potatoes cool.
Cut the marinated cucumbers into cubes and place in a bowl.
Thanks to the incision, the potatoes are easy to peel!
Cut the potatoes into cubes and add them to the bowl.
Add the shrimp to the salad.
Finely chop the spring onions and parsley and add to the salad.
For the dressing, mix lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper and dress the salad with it.
Place the salad on a plate and garnish with parsley.
Fry wholemeal bread and rub with garlic.
