We used to go from LA to Pittsburg Calif and sometimes Seattle Washington. I used to read a lot of Betty and Veronica comics as well as Superman.

"Ramblin' Man" by The Allman Brothers Band -- lyrics comes to mind "...And I was born in the back seat of a Greyhound bus Rollin' down highway 41..." Great post!

I love it, as you're living my dream! I actually grew up on Greyhound myself, but as a blind individual, I will never get the experience of driving. However: I am fascinated by the buses themselves. Unfortunately, I'm finding that I'm not liking the new buses that Greyhound is purchasing. I guess I'm stuck in a time warp in that I loved the buses from the 70's to about the mid-90's, and then I got to liking the buses (D4500 or 102Dl3's as they first started as) and that was it. I feel claustrophobic on these Prevosts. Anyway. Glad to hear you are enjoying your job and maybe I can meet you one day! Take care!

To me, Greyhound (and Trailways) was magical as a kid. Looking at that destination sign on the bus knowing it was in most cases going a long way away was very exciting to me. It was for me the trip, not the destination. I loved it! My most memorable trip as a kid was going from Santa Maria Ca. to Asheville, N.C. No airplane for me! Getting to ride (hopefully) on double decker Scenicruiser or the Trailways Eagle (up front behind the driver so I could talk to him and watch him maneuver that big bus) was the ultimate! I'll always remember the experience.

First time I took the hound was from Philly to Ottawa, CA. I was going to a gospel convention up there. It was my mother, aunt an I and we actually missed the first bus bc it left early 😭. We didn’t leave until the 3rd bus around 10:15PM. I didn’t mind it bc I love buses and still do. We arrived in NYC and had to switch buses in that GIGANTIC BUS STATION! It wasn’t hard to find our gate bc it had a Canadian 🇨🇦 flag on top of it. By the time we got to immigrate it was around 8 AM. We got off in Montreal and switched to a Greyhound Canada bus over to Ottawa. I’ve only even ridden the bus one other time to visit family in Orlando. I love the feeling of traveling Greyhound and watching ur videos reminds me of those times. Keep doing what ur doing man 💯👍🏽

Well sir my first time on a greyhound was just over a year ago. I was going to Colorado for truck driving school. It was I think a 19 hour trip from st louis to Denver. I took greyhound a few more times during my bout with the carrier I signed too. It was a pretty nice experience on all of the rides. I'd do it again if need be an only problem id have is that I like to drive an I know that wouldn't be allowed.

Hey man, it was a pleasure meeting you also. It was great to get a glimpse of your passion for Greyhound. When I'm finished writing my book, you will get the first copy. Also, I look forward to seeing you this summer if you choose to come to the PABT. Be Blessed my Brother.

I also grew up on the dog, from the time I was a toddler to my teens. Every vacation I had from school always started and ended at the Milwaukee Greyhound station, going to and returning from the Michigan Upper Peninsula. In all those years of riding not one bad experience.

My dad worked for greyhound and we used to always take greyhound from Louisiana to North Carolina to visit his side of the family. I basically grew up on the greyhound. I probably was like 4 or 5 when I first started riding greyhound. And your videos are very helpful and I’m thinking about becoming a greyhound bus driver.
