I know this is 2 years old, but I love your guest room! It's so pretty and calming! Also, watching your cleaning in fast motion totally motivated me!! I'm so glad I found your channel through the 30 bags in 30 days challenge. I've been cleaning out and preparing to sell my family's home. It was house I grew up in, but haven't lived there in 11 years. I definitely have neglected my house since all my spare time has been working at the family's house. Once it's sold, I'm for SURE going to do the 30bi30d!! ☺

Although I'm glad you are in Weight Watchers, I am quite sure hubby loves you like you are. I think you are quite pretty as you are. I myself kind of like myself at a plump size 14 and my husband has stayed with me for 35 years! I stumbled across your videos a couple of weeks ago and have been binge watching since. I am quite organised but that wasn't always the case. Like you it seemed to be a constant circle of clean and decluttering only to buy more and get in a mess. Finally the penny dropped and I realised what I was doing wrong. Life is so much better and I find it so easy to stick to my routine. Watching you has reminded me what the old me used to be like. Keep up the good work you are doing amazing and I for one love to watch you and your family. Donna xXx

What I usually do to try to stay on top of the cleaning is a 10 minute nightly pick up/tidy up before bed if not done after dinner. This helps immensely! Other things I do - keep my fridge packed with prepped items or things ready for grab and go in case I sleep in, I can pack lunch with ease. I also prep coffeemaker the night before so I just have to turn it on in the AM's while packing lunch and getting ready. My thermos/mug are on the counter ready and waiting to be filled so I can leave. And I have designated day's for doing certain chores. While I might not be doing a big clean weekly, things are still getting done. I'd rather 'maintain' daily vs lose 1/2 day cleaning weekly. Thats just my take on cleaning :)

I used to recruit my kids. I don't know how old yours are? My son even runs the dishwasher. My daughter can clean way better then me ha! She is 19 now and moved away last year. Like one of the viewers said about her friend. Helping and all that was me and my daughter the best of work buddies friends, shopping together. I hope to have her back closer someday? She lives 3 hours away. If I had a full time job I would pay a helper and save some time and energy for some fun! Life flys by it just really hit me at age 45. This was a lot of hard work for you, but what a transformation of that room. It looks lovely! I love, love, love people who re-use, re-purpose and recycle. I can't believe that people threw away such good furniture. People should donate things they don't want instead of sending them to the landfill. I know this is an older video, but I enjoyed in very much, and I will subscribe and watch more of your "adventures". Home keeping is an art, in my opinion. I enjoy it very much, and I feel proud of our home when it looks so nice as a result of just keeping after it.

I have been trying to declutter too. I took several boxes to Goodwill. Some went to a local charity shop and there is a cute secondhand shop nearby where I sold some vintage items. I'm so sentimental about things and it's hard for me to part with them. I gave some Christmas items to our local libraries recycle Christmas Day. I adore Christmas and Christmas decorations but have been giving some decorations to daughters and a granddaughter. I still have plenty. Love your declutter video.

I just tuned into this one again tonight. I'm working on my bedroom right now. I got hooked on Sophia's vids a while back and since I've really been inspired by her. The reason I like Sophia's vids is because compared to some of those other cleaning, decluttering and DYI vids where some of those women get all dressed up and sit there in front of the camera and do nothing but talk-talk and talk some more and do absolutely nothing. They'll tell you how to declutter your mind and life as they sit there in a spotless corner of their house. LOL I'm like---get real here--sigh-- Sophia actually does something as she speaks--that's what inspires people. No one wants to sit through some boring tutorial from some woman barely out of her teens acting like some wannabe psycho analyst with a perfect home and life--lol. Sophia's a real person like the rest of us and humbly reveals herself in all aspects of her life. She's wonderfully and lovably transparent and I think that's why so many are drawn to her vids as I was. There's nothing phony about Sophia. I hope in the future that she will do more vids like this one, but I don't want to work her to death trying to inspire myself to do more--Lol.

My Great Challenge Oh I'd never hate on sweet Jen, (lol) but have you *ever* seen a hair out of place on that woman or her waking up without a face on? LOL-- I mean--she has nice vids, but I just can't relate to her at all. Not to mention her style and mine are completely different because she seems like a minimalist to me and that's just not me. I have a lot of crap to organize, I like "things" as you said. I like the way she organizes, but she doesn't have much to organize either. I'm sitting here watching her thinking her house is bare! Does she even use that kitchen of hers? Your home and style are so close to mine and I love the way you do things. Your home looks like a real home--cozy and lived in. You have a busy life with actual people running around your house like I do with the kids and the dogs--again, like I do. Not to mention that I just love the way you decorate and the colors you use on the walls. I love those rich warm colors and I also love finding great pieces of furniture and fixing them up. I'll send you some pics one of these days and show you just what I'm talking about. My house is basically clean, but I have a lot of stuff stashed in corners and closets and a full basement of racks and bins right now that me and the hubby are putting together trying to get organized. You are an inspiration and I know that's what people love about you and your vids--WYSIWYG! :)

Oh I love this video so much! I stumbled across your video and so glad I did. I can't believe you found such beautiful furniture on the street! Lucky for you. And don't you wish you could really clean as fast as it seems on the videos? Lol

Looking back on 2014. This is one of my favorite vids. Needing some inspiration desperately. Can't find any others on youtube that come close to inspiring me the way yours do. So, I'm going back through your old vids to once again get reinspired. It's unbelievable that even after the huge purge last summer, I still have so much to do. Overwhelming at this point. Not getting paid any more either, so now it's back to being on a tighter budget as well. Lots of challenges with too little inspiration. Need to get back on the horse! Hugs :)

Emily Kiesling I think it's grown on me, I really wanted to paint it, but it gives a richer look to the room that way. I may change the lamps and the table in between the two beds.

oh man I'm the same - I can spend 3 days decluttering my room, deep cleaning it, moving furnuture and cleaning behind/under it and making it perfect then I go away for the weekend and I come back and it's like a bomb has gone off in there - I genuinely don't understand how it happens.
