Hey eyerybody, thanks for checking out another weekly update. Did some comparisons between the hydroponic plants and some equals grown in soil. Basil, beans, swiss chard, chives, and peas. Lots of plants growing quickly now, cucumbers and green beans really coming along, a couple strawberries, lettuce, and a few peas already. I also set up a kratky bucket for a bell pepper plant. Plus, a look at the succulents and green onions growing inside.
I'm using 14 Dutch buckets and 3 NFT (the original NFT) tubes. Will be adding some more stuff most likely as the year goes on.
Back to using the General Hydroponics Flora series nutrients, as it's been really easy (a shooter glass of each once per week), and everything has tasted delicious using them, so why change. They're usually around $60CDN for the three bottles.
While I've been out of the greenhouse, I've been making a ton of art lately using Procreate on my iPad, lots of neat shirt designs (and some gardening/hydroponics designs) which can all be found at: https:/www.redbubble.com/people/DaveDanchuk/shop?asc=u
