My favorite saying on the course, "I'll take it." You have to take it. Those are the rules.
@davidm6387
3 жыл бұрын
If you want to picky then I can be picky. You don't have to take it if you're willing to be penalized. Rules say you can rethrow but you take a stroke for the first throw, a 1-stroke penalty, and of course you also have to count the rethrow. I've seen it in videos of a couple different tournaments, one of them being the time a guy intentionally took 40 on a hole.

2:20 - Flippy disc on hyzer goes left harder? This blew my mind
@williamdowling7718
3 жыл бұрын
It's not that it goes left harder. It's that if you put it on enough hyzer, it'll turn left while it's flipping up, then hopefully it will have lost enough speed that it will travel straight and flat instead of continuing to flip. When done correctly, it'll turn left hard because of the hyzer, but then flatten out and continue straight because of the understability. An overstsble disc will definitely turn left harder, but it'll keep turning left the whole time instead of finishing straight.
@nmkloster
3 жыл бұрын
This actually dawned on me suddenly standing on the tee pad of a tournament. Short, downhill, hard left turn. We were all throwing overstable putters or mids. But it made perfect sense: Throw it with a lot of hyzer and it will make the initial left turn while its flipping. After that it just uses that flippy glide to go go go on its new leftbound trajectory. A super soft Gateway Magic, btw.
