Interesting to see the nitty gritty of a training schedule and it’s effects on an athlete. Great channel, keep it up. Informative, fun and inspiring. 👍

Do you ever train in an outdoor pool? Just curious. I’m a Floridian - my son just ended his swimming career and decided not to compete collegiately. I’m in swim-mom withdrawal, so this was interesting. It is a good reminder for me - how much work swimmers do to be at the top level, and even how much work it is to merely compete in a USA State/Age group level. Good luck to all those swimmers out there. You all rock.

Always curious about hydration plans. I sweat heavily, far more than most, and Gatorade only gets me through maybe 2500 to 3000 yards before cramps set in. General nutrition is always interesting, pre race day, and recovery nutrition. Also, all the warm up exercises you do, One thing I haven't seen on any swim channel is how swimmers vary their weight lifting. I know you don't want to do the same exercises every session, but no one seems to show different work outs, at least not anything like they show for swim work outs.... I am 71, and after having both hips and a knee replaced, got back into swimming as a way to stay fit, and for mental health.... I need my exercise...

Love watching your videos, Im a mum who used to get up at 5 am to take my boys training before school. Now that they are older, I dont need to get up early anymore and they’re swapped to triathlon training. I dont miss the early mornings but I do miss watching everyone train; as such watching this video brings back happy memories

The reason you are sore after weights is because you are tearing your muscles in the wrong direction for the sport. Only lift weights that mimic the movements of the sport.
