Nice collection of Dinky toys. The old Hudson would be nice restored in original colours.the old Austin car was a great win .I remember an uncle owned one similar to this model I have the Dinky Studebaker in a maroon colour Always love the old Dinky trucks, they will look great restored. That Bedford could possibly be original, I have a number of Bedford Dinky trucks ,must admit I have not seen a tow truck like this but have over the years heard that there were tow trucks made by Dinky Great collection, looking forward to seeing the restoration videos

If my memory is correct from 60 years ago I had the Centurion tank and antar transport truck. The rubber tracks on the tank are probably original. Good luck with the restorations.

G'Day to you! 1.25min in I found one of these in my Garden when I was cleaning it up, must have left there by some Kid years ago, and I still have in great condition the Elec. Milk Van, not a scratch on it!

Wow that's an epic find, I remember as a child I used to play with my toys in the garden and lost quite a few of them...lol

I think I would leave the motorcart as is. Looking forward to see what you do with the Hudson 👍

Land Speed car might be a Railton - not sure. Or Eyston's Thunderbolt, probably. Interesting one, anyway, as is the Studebaker Commander. Both of these, and the Somerset which I'd not be able to resist, will look terrific as Code3s! You''ll recognise the BMW 'kidney grille' on the Frazer Nash. Quite a nice haul of oldies, ripe for saving!

You’re right about the Thunderbolt…mine was silver

Thank you for your kind response, yes the land speed car I will look into this before restoration to see if I can find its true colour as dinky did release these in different colours not true to the original colour scheme of the real car.

@@MeepsRestorations Polished silver 'Birmabright' (so the same material used in the early Series 1 Land Rovers) according to Wiki, was the original finish done at the Bean works in Tipton, Derbyshire. The model might come up nicely with just a right good polish, and a sealing lacquer. It had twin axles at the front and twin tyres at the rear, apparently, though I doubt the Dinky went that far!

What type of paint do I have to use to repaint a Dinky Toy. I used a black, glossy spray, but after drying it got mat. What did I wrong????

Some great little vehicles there. Looking forward to see them restored. That little wheelbarrow looks brilliant. Really liked the electric van.

A really good choice of Dinkies in my opinion, and some of the restorations will be quite demanding - good luck.
