Jeff, the fact that you haven't changed the way you do KZitem since you started your channel is one of the reasons why I have always been a fan of yours👍 There are a bunch of knife/edc gear related KZitemrs that grew their channels rapidly, because they're flashy. But these knife KZitemrs are not honest, they give positive/great reviews of knives/gear because they get those knives and gear free from the manufacturer😬 Jeff, you have always been honest and kept it real, that's what I really appreciate about you👍

I remember watching your videos back when you were in your room at your parents house. I never commented because I didn’t have a channel or account back then. I now make content everyday and it is difficult to always do it. Don’t worry what people say or comment on here, some just want to feel better about themselves and others just want to be mean. Take care and God bless you and your family.

The stories when you worked at the assisted living facility were the best. Anyway, good luck and I trust you’ll get through this rough patch soon. Cheers

I remember watching you since I was in highschool, Ive made some really dumb comments myself here but not really at you. I still remember when you had problems with the Chrysler and posting videos wondering what they could be. (A lot of them said "it's a Chrysler lmao") That made me wonder why so I looked up repair videos/car videos. Lots of things happened to my life and I was able to keep a crappy car longer because I was exposed to those kinds of videos. I have a job now because of it. Finding your channel I think really changed my life, because I don't think I would be here today without thinking "The knife guy I like watching is having car problems, how? And can I find out if I can help?" I never found out a way since I didn't wanna say anything since I wasn't sure if my advice would work. Plus you got rid of it by the time I learned a small bit lol Thank you always for sharing, my life would probably be different if you weren't here.

The one thing you got to remember is it's not their choice at the end of the day it's not their decision no matter what you do I'm a butcher by trade so I deal with the public on a regular basis and the one thing I got to tell myself is don't let one bad comment or interaction ruin the whole rest of your day because it's not worth it I have watched your videos since probably 2010 when I was a freshman in high school and now I'm 28 with two kids and married so I pretty much grew up watching you and I think one of the reasons I've watched so long is because you don't change you do stay so consistent I also read some of those comments on that other video and I kind of ticked me off so I can only imagine what it is for you I do wish you and yours the best no matter what it is you do I know how it can be when your place gets sold out from under you the place I'll be back right now for example has sold 3 times since we lived here

I have been watching you since you started just about. I love your hot sauce videos, your hot sauce video’s is why I first started watching you & of course I love Vinny too & I love your fishing videos, I love watching you fish & I love your random nature videos of wild turkeys, bears, deer, etc. I love your porch videos, rain , snow videos. I’m not into knives so I don’t watch those but I watch everything else & I love you, kinda like a son lol. I am always watching your videos, I just quit commenting because there were a few people who enjoyed being rude in the comments & I really wanted to tell them off lol but I just stopped commenting instead to avoid the drama. Assuming that you have to move I’m saddened by this because this house is where you’ve always been since I started watching you & so it feels like home & it’s nostalgic. Not to mention all of the beautiful nature there. Here’s my question, assuming that you’ll have to move, is there an amount of money that the owner would accept or agree to that would allow you to stay & keep the house ? Take care Jeff ❤

another potentially dumb question, why buy a mid range car with payments if lets say you could afford an 8 thousand dollar reliable car in one payment instead of X payments over Y months? seems to me at least that buying a reliable shitbox is financially more reasonable that that 2-4 year old newish car that costs tens of thousands of dollars. from what ive seen people pay more in total for that same car over numerous payments from a dealership and its value goes down so why not buy a car you can afford in one payment? the value of vehicles is going down constantly, and since you put down a full payment you dont lose alot of money over a car
@squiderrz

thats easy to answer its the same reason millions of people finance cars...they dont have the money to just buy something outright...yes you always pay for with payments becasue someone lent you money they want to make interest thats why they let you borrow it in the first place, many people prefer to just buy a 10K used vehicle that runs fine BUT they dont have 10 K but they can find $300 a month...In my case my truck is an asset so if I needed to sell it tomorrow I would not only have my loan paid off but I would make money on it, which is rare in the past but common these days...

I've learned that physical health is darn near the most important thing to protect and not take for granted. If you got your health, you can work and make ends meet, or work harder and land a better job and work your way up the ranks. But if you work 24/7 and neglect sleep, food, exercise, etc., then physical health goes to crap (that's where I am currently) and you are no longer able to work, and then you lose access to health care to even have a chance to get healthy enough to work again. Not a hopeful place. Hang in there man - financial issues are totally fixable if you can still work and make things happen. I've wanted a Tacoma for years now, TRD Off Road or Pro, 4-door, etc. It would be too long for the current garage and too pricey for me, so I started looking at RAV4s and might get a nice used one I can drive 5-10 years while saving up for a Tacoma. Definitely love your vehicle videos.

as far as how fast you can sell some assets vs others, I know just what you mean. During covid when I was out of work and money was getting tight, I sold one of my high-end bass guitars. Took a couple of weeks to find a guy who was interested, and another week of haggling to agree on terms. You can have valuable stuff and add that total to your bank account in your mind, but actually translating from the item itself to dollars in cash or in your bank balance might not be as quick and easy as you'd hope if you're not used to doing business that way.

I've called you a doofus from time to time on certain things I just don't get about you. But the "real life" stuff you talked about here....to me that's sacred ground. You do you. You don't need to justify your life choices with half a million youtube viewers. For the longest time, I had no idea that doing youtube videos generated enough income to live on. For people like you who can pull it off, I think that's awesome. But, as you know, if you "put yourself out there" for all the world to see, you make yourself a target. There's no way around it. As critical as I can be, I would never be able to handle it coming the other way the way that you do. You're an odd duck. But I keep coming back to your videos because you are also a fascinating dude. All the best in your future adventures.

In Europe the same lighter goes for about double that. I made a video showing the lighter and asking for an authentication of sorts. Like the gentleman you are, you took the time out of your day to get back to me and confirm it was indeed a real Zippo. All these years later I come across your channel once more and it felt a little like coming home. Still great stories bring told, still cool items being shown. All real as can be. Been watching you since around 2008 I wanna say and even though I don't comment much I feel like you're family Jeff. I admire who you are as a person and I try to watch all of your videos, even though I don't care about knives(other than that I can appreciate a fine blade) :-) I wish I was a man of means so I could really give back to everything you have given me over the years. The haters are a bunch of ignorant c#nts. There, I said it. They have shitty lives so they take it out on someone who's always funny, kind, genuine and educational. Edit: I'm also glad you don't have fancy intro, meme-y editing and all that stuff. Most of those people/channels feel fake or clickbaity. When you watch a cutlerylover video you know it's genuine and real.

Your a true OG on KZitem. And you're not alone on the struggle right now so don't be embarrassed about it. Everything went up 3X or more just in the past few years.... I have never been wealthy but never had to worry about necessities until like 4 years ago. Now I have to watch/worrie about food.

jeff, i have been watching your channel for over 10 years easily. I love that you keep things simple in your videos and get your points across with a camera and your words, not flashy editing and such. As a younger man than you, i always appreciate the honesty and your thoughts and feelings on life and just being a person in general. (plus knife reviews too?!) Thanks for being who you are and continuing to upload despite the silly negative comments. i truly cant imagine doing what youve been able to do for such a long time. i wish every youtube commenter had to listen to the first 5ish mins of the video. Have a great day my man

You're basically explaining everyone's life who isn't born into wealth. Ups and downs are a part of life, have several back up plans.
