Girl I'm crying after watching this video. Im happy to see that you'r family took you through the right direction. My case was not the same. People used to threaten me and blame me for the things i did. And even i could not realize that there is something wrong because I was just a kid. My parents used to beat me for behaving so. To this day i face many mental health issues like anxiety, depression, ocd etc. I am 25 years old now and has gained nothing in my life rather than being afraid of everything.

Being an NPD victim and OCPD, i couldn't forget the days i have been through- the times I hated nights, the days i complained a lot, regretted, worried, tired and thought of self harm. Took cbt and medications for some time. Later realised self heal measures to be taken for long term on realising Medications will create a withdrawal effect same as alcohol and also have side effects in prolonged use. Find your own ways to happiness, change life style, be involved, positive affirmations, exercise helped a lot.

The best part about this whole life experience sharing was the decision that ' I have an issue and that needs to be resolved ' at the age of 10 or so! Now that is something not everyone would be able to feel at that tender age. That self awareness along with Parent's support helped you. Sometimes, even if the family or loved ones wanted to support the other, they may not be willing to help themselves and that's one of thw worst scenarios.. Anyways, you had a healthy travel in your self help journey and that's so beautiful to hear. More strength to you.

I am an Ayurveda dr. I had OCD and FPP disorder right from my 8th standard...From my experience, all these begun as a habit to heal myself from my childhood trauma... I had some family problems... Nobody understood me... I used to walk certain distance as you told, even used to run😢...Everybody scolded me... I was a good student that time...I was good in academics, I had good writing skills... Slowly it reflected on my studies.. From a topscorer in the class to a person who failed in the subject,😢... That time, I never got the support I actually needed.... Even, I felt memory issues... I was unable to recollect the learnt topics.. Wasting time is the main issue, I felt with these disorders...I always feel, If I could control my thoughts earlier during my schooling, I would have attained something greater in my life...Thank you for speaking out❤

I vividly recall a childhood biking at 8 or 9 when an odd sensation on my legs sparked obsessive fears of a snake bite. Despite knowing it wasn't true, anxiety consumed me. Thankfully, seeking help from a psychologist proved transformative. While not entirely curable, I've learned OCD is manageable, and recovery is possible.

Actually OCG grows by age . In India, many commit suicide without getting treatment. Especially because of our society. Still it is a taboo to take treatment for mental health.

Completely understood and agree with what you have said, dear. Going through the same with my husband from past ten years. We didn't know it was OCD. His strange behaviours were left unnoticed in his childhood and only came to understand after our marriage. Now we're facing it together. And the funniest part is my mother in law still says, her son didn't had any issues until he marry me 😅😢

its true. He had no issues, until he married you. The biggest issue is when women create problems and victimize their husbands.
