Hey Dari! Firstly thank you for putting me on your video! Thats super cool to see lol. Your friend’s interview from Istanbul was a little shocking to hear with the price differences from the past to the present. It sounds like extremely close to american prices. I heard that Turkey’s inflation has gone extremely high but that interview really did put it in perspective. It is scary that it is happening globally and not just only in one country at a time like how it has happened before in history. One of the things that ive learned from these past few years is that we all need to help each other. We all need to get creative and help each other. Im extremely happy that im able to help you out and hopefully you will get more students that can help you out too. If we are able to all come together we will all make it through this horrible situation together and hopefully we will become smarter and and stronger as a result of this. We are here for ya Dari if you need us. It cant be bad forever, and eventually this will end. Keep the hope we will beat this bad situation and look back on it one day in a better place. Oh by the way lol… ive got about two BBQs for the 4th of July to go to today and tomorrow so my homework is not quite yet done 😜😎 but it will definitely be done and youll be proud for sure! Have fun in Greece, see ya!

You are really getting good at choosing music and sound mixing. The interview part was awesome , you are getting good at those as well. I guess the prices aren’t scary for me at all , I mean by European standards they are still really affordable … I guess it freaks people out that they went up really sharply and really fast. And it is even worse if you fall for tourist traps or scams ( taxi, restaurants where the English menu has different prices than the Turkish one etc). Great choice of thumbnail also. Happy pic + good content is a good recipe! Enjoy the Ionian sea !

Those grocery prices are quite reasonable compared to Canada. I did a Google cost comparison for fresh boneless chicken between Montreal and Turkey. It costs 51% LESS in Turkey than in Montreal! Grocery prices across Canada have risen by 300/ month for an average of $1357. The cost of living has risen by 8.5% in 2023 . It has become a major problem for lots of Canadian families . Our Federal government brought the directors of the the 3 major grocery chains to Ottawa to ask them to justify the huge profit they’ve made over the last 2 yrs. There is no concrete solutions to the 8.3% rise in inflation.

Thank you for the update. Istanbul is certainly a beautiful city, and you help to make it even prettier. I love the views of the sea and sunset. You look fabulous in that green print dress with sunglasses and your hair with braids, like a model. Allow me to give you a couple of tips. In videos, we can see and hear what you present, but we can't smell and taste and touch. At times videographers need to convey taste, touch, and smell (but don't overdo it). For example, what was that delicious coffee drink with the white topping you were drinking at that café'? If it's actually very good, convey the smell, the taste, and even the texture. (If it's not good, then it's best to say nothing.) Also, it's not proper English to say, "I quitted my job." One only needs to say, "I quit my job", or "I quit going to school." Here's how the word quit is used in present tense: "I am quitting my job." Or "I am quitting school." The word quitted is sometimes (rarely) used in place of abandoned or departed such as, "I quitted my country." or "I quitted my political party."

@@DariStep It is more like 11% with shrinkflation so a typical family may be paying 5k to 7k usd a year more to maintain last year's standards and this is not pocket change for those on fixed income . It is nowhere near what the inflation your interviewee mentioned.

Congratulations on you getting to stay in Istanbul, I wish this means that you will be able to continue your work and searching for opportunities to study. ❤❤❤ Love the video and again, watching you try out different ways to cut from scene to scene. The interviews went very well; interesting, without pauses or repeated expressions, and the recording (motive angles/sound) was very good too.🎙📹📸🎬 I must say that the prices are really an surprise!!! That is a catastrophic development, one that I hope will soon stabelise and hopefully not last for too many years... In Denmark we have not experienced that kind of economic crisis... yet, but prices are going up but I think ordinary people will get through it allright, for most people. 🙏 Your situation while living i Türkiye (they don't like to be called Turkey anymore😅), have really been a very exciting journey to witness with you.
