you went above and beyond with this one. i adooooore your customs! i grew up seeing the book Shogun on my mother's hand. it's her favorite book ever, reading dozens of times, sometimes even rereading in short intervals after finishing on a reading. she liked it THAT MUCH, just like Coppola's Dracula, which she saw in the theatres... 11 times.

I understand the wanting to stay true to the original character part, and for this pony choosing to have the hair part in the middle like sally has. But i think a pony adaptation with 'normal' pony hairdo would look nicer/lush and less stiff, and still be recognizable! Anywho, I love the long videos, the longer the better 😊 I doubt anyone would think its 'too long'. I appreciate the work you put into this and the editing (which was probably more work with this one) ❤ Also the coloring on the dress was superb. And going outside the box with the metal stiching looked so good!! Love your vids always!

If you like the book Shogun, they made a mini series of it with Richard Chamberlain that I highly recommend 😊 I really enjoyed watching this! I saw The Nightmare Before Christmas in the theaters when it was released and it was so marvelous! That was before it became such a classic and people were still kind of on the fence about it… I really love how you did this pony! 🥰 My only suggestion would be to give her Sally’s lipstick (she has that cute little pucker of lipstick). Other than that, I absolutely love it! And I agree, nylon hair looks like it’s difficult to work with. It seems stiff and unforgiving, it does what it wants to do. It reminds me of my own hair so I can relate to the problems you had with it 😂 I won’t lie, I was giddy when I saw your box of ponies! Especially the Applejacks! 🥰 I need to stop buying ponies…

i'm really curious: on the few dress up doll customization channels i watch, they use epoxy sculpt. on this channel, it's usually milliput for the same sort of thing. are they basically the same thing but one is cheaper/a different texture/regional/etc? or is one good for pony material and one good for doll material? or are they actually for different purposes and i'm wrong? thank you!!

This custom is a step up. Like major. It so cool and interesting. I adore this dress and stitches it's exquisite, spectacular may I say. But the worst thing that ruin everything is a mane. Such terrible quality on the preview it look stunning but in the end rushed. You did amazing job on this pony like wow. But hair need a second chance, hair do the magic

My only complaint about this video is that it's not really Halloweeny outside out of the subject you're working on. There's no purple, orange, green or black backgrounds and the music is the same you use for every day videos. Your nails aren't even on point 😂 I know it can be a little hard to find music since Disney likes to strike even fan-covers, but there are royalty free tracks out there that I would've preferred over this elevator music. That said I do like the stitching done with the wiring; it adds an extra dimensionality to the figure and just the right amount of shine to be noticable but not ugly. I think what also might have helped is if there was more of a partition for the ears to stick through the hair because they seem to be changing the shape quite a bit. Can't wait for you to tackle Jack next year. I really want to see that!
