That is not a passion fruits , its a yellow guava , passion fruits is a climber, they are selling at the cooperativa for 2 euros each, also be aware with Monstera fruits, yes they are amazing, but you can only eat them when they start to fell into pieces, if you eat unripen fruits they are toxic.

I remember being on Madeira, and picking up avocado in the street, so hard, picked three, took them back to the UK, and one week or two later THEY WERE SO GOOD...

I like the Pitangas! What about keeping chicken in your garden? They can be useful against the weeds. In which area of Madeira do you live? We are in Madeira in the end of march for 10 days. Best regards from Bobby´s Chicken Farm🙂
