I don't understand. How is the sin between him and Allah? A faithful spouse is a right of every man/woman. He did not fulfill that right. The wife deserves compensation. Should everyone conceal everything? What's the point of morality then?

Yes it is the right of the woman to know the truth, but if the man has repented and reformed, and vowed never to do it again, even though the wife doesn't know what happened, wouldn't it be good if the marriage continued happily and the guy got Allah's forgiveness? After all, we know Allah is the Most Forgiving. If u disobeyed your parents in their absence by drinking alcohol, then realised that what u did is wrong, and repented and reformed, would u like ur parents to get upset and worried over something which is ur past and u moved on from it? Of course no. So if the marriage is on good terms, and something was done by one spouse that shouldn't have happened and the other spouse doesn't know about it, but the one guilty repented in front of Allah sincerely and reformed, would it be ideal for them to still get divorced even tho the spouse moved on from his sin? Of course no.

No one said that everything should be concealed. Please be wise. If it is in the better interests to conceal something and repent in private, that should be done, and if it's better to reveal it, then that should be done. Once a man came to Rasulallah SAW and said that he wanted the stoning punishment cuz he committed adultery. Rasulallah SAW kept on ignoring him until he swore it 4 times that he had done so. Then Rasulullah SAW asked his companions if the man was drunk or insane. They confirmed the contrary. Then he was prescribed the stoning punishment, and then Rasulullah SAW asked for his forgiveness. What this shows that even Rasulallah SAW was trying to conceal the man's sin.

How does not confessing one's sins make morality pointless? If you sincerely repent to Allah and try to not commit sin again that's the best way. If Allah conceals your sin you shouldn't reveal it, no one has the right to know your sins, including your spouse. What compensation does his wife deserve exactly?

A very sensitive issue which in modern world is taken so lightly, this is the reason we have become single bunch of sticks which are being broken easily. We are not following religion due to too much distraction of the modern culture and digital era, possible it could be the end times, where knowledge will be drawn away end evil will start it's shadow over our eye's and desire of the heart's. May ALLAH-SWT SAVE US FROM THE SHACKLES OF EVIL SHAITAAN, AMEEN SUMMAH AMEEN.

Assuming he is living in a country that doesn't carry such punishments he shouldn't go look for it. When a country has stoning as a punishment in place for adultery and there is no free mixing of men and women he would likely not have committed it. If this happened in a "modern" western democracy then committing adultery is easy if you are heedless of your deen, he should then repent to Allah and avoid temptation.

I understand it as concealing from the ruling authority like let's say if you lived in a Muslim country and if you weren't caught doing the act. But you can tell your spouse as long as they are not going to tell on you. The prophet himself said to conceal your sins with the concealment of Allah else if you expose your sin, you will be punished. so it's up to the individual.

I would say they are not soft on before-marriage-zina like how can 100 lashes effect you as a man? Rather what you should fear is allah forgiveness.
